I bet this Far Harbor shit is seriously going to be disappointing, judging by how quickly they're cranking these things out, it's probably going to have one or two unique assets before saying "FUCK IT" and copy-pasting with the vanilla shit, probably retexture Mirelurks to make them glow or a bit spikier and state it's a "NEW CREATURE!!one11!" Also, speaking of creatures, what the fuck is with their Mirelurk King? Is that supposed to be a mutated Snapping Turtle? A Frog? Is it just some excuse to some bullshit "The Creature from the Black Lagoon"? Seems like it to me.

They probably started working on it before release unlike Automatron and Wasteland Workshop which were worked on after the game released with their main purpose being to fill up the time between Fallout 4 and Far Harbour.

Hey guys, it seems the creation kit is on beta and obviously some modders are already fixing the game with really important stuff, check out:

Gotta love the AI in this game. It's just like people in movies that do retarded stuff that gets them killed: Deathclaw wastes those he fights only for the audience to freak out, rush over and open the gate to the arena to attack it, which lets it free.

Also: Last two remaining fighters on the same team finish off their last foe and one turns on the other killing him because his minigun clipped her in the gunfight.

Same deal like in classic games. Bandits vs trappers. "Oh look it's the Chosen One in Power Armor, he is going to save us from Claim Jumpers"! Fails critically to shoot, hits one of the trappers. Whole encounter turns into bloodbath.

You have to give Bethesda this at least: they used an original Fallout 1 dialogue to shape all of their dialogues. Kudos.

Fun fact:
This ugly tech gizmo attached to Vault Dweller's wrist is Vault Boy, not Pip Boy. Bethesda just cannot into Fallout lore.

By the way, hes not the Pip Boy, the Pip Boy is the little guy on your Pip Boy interface. The Vault Boy was supposed to evoke the feel of Monopoly cards, and the Pip Boy was based on the Bobs Big Boy mascot.

I like how he starts off as the "Senior Vice President at Vault-Tec" and talks about the Pip-Boy as "the most used item in your life", and then seamlessly transitions to talking about Bethesda's approach to Fallout 4.

No, the Pip Boy is the device. In that quote they're saying that the little mascot in the yellow jumpsuit on the Pip Boy interface is the Pip Boy, the mascot in the blue jumpsuit is Vault Boy but I guess people kept calling him the Pip Boy

Did anyone here notice how when Obsidian released Courier's Stash and Gun Runners Arsenal DLC no one cared but when Bethesda releases Wasteland Workshop everyone flips their shit.

WW costs more money and adds less (zero) useful content.

Pathfinder: Wrath
Yeah, how weird that people prefer an add-on that includes some 30+ new weapons, 20 or so new weapon upgrades, and around 20 new ammo recipes over an even more expensive add-on that includes a handful of new items to decorate your house with.

If you want to understand why people didn't mind CS and GRA, look at their release dates.

Pipboys were made by RobCo not Vault-Tec. I am not Fallout nerd and even I know this.

Why would that matter?

Courier's Stash was made of preorder items and when the DLC was compiled and released with Gun Runner's Arsenal the game was done. It was clear what you got at all times. This is not the case with Fallout 4, the Seasons Pass is mysterious at best and all the DLCs are overpriced and don't add anything new. As I sad, the item DLCs for New Vegas came after the mini campaings were released. You had Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues and Lonesome Road already released. The items, especially GRA, represented an opportunity to replay the game with different builds and options. IN Fallout 4, the new DLCs add shit nobody really wants to (mostly) a part of the game nobody really understands why it's there.

You can debate the quality of the dlcs, but they do add new assets to the game. Most of Wasteland Workshop's assets are new, and Automatron was very much new to the base game.

Let me rephrase it: the item dlcs for Fallout 4 are the Honest Hearts and Dead Money of New Vegas. It's not just about quality, it's borderline ripoff, when your dlcs are not only horse armor 2.0, but also when something that's mostly visual fluff raises the price of the game in a very noticeable manner.

Oh, I see you meant it in order of release.

I mean, we're going to have to see what Far Harbor provides in terms of size since it seems like most resources are on that project.
