If real and not april fools, it would probably be a New Vegas remaster. That's doable and would make some easy money for TES6 and Starfield.

edit: nevermind, just noticed it was added to the Fallout 4 entry. It has to be a creation club thing, a port to FO4's engine is too big for a side project now.

It does make me wonder how you'd continue a New Vegas series (without just returning to Vegas, which would be boring)

a New Vegas 2 would be so dope. but I don’t think it will ever happen because what ending would then be canon from the first game to continue the story?
Judging from past FO games, the NCR victory
There's more to it than just which of the major factions controls the dam and thus New Vegas. There are all kinds of choices and consequences throughout the game. Also, basically setting a canon ending for new vegas is like shooting themselves in the balls, they're not gonna do that, I can already hear nerds furiously typing how the NCR is the true evil faction.

Unfortunately, the newvegas2 entry was added to Fallout 4 which is getting an Anniversary Edition treatment this year - you know, updated game for consoles and some Creation Club content mixed in, like they did with Skyrim. The best we can hope for is some New Vegas themed items and shit like that.

If there was any chance of a New Vegas remaster or a New Vegas sequel nothing like that would have been added to the Steam database for Fallout 4, IMO.

I am ashamed to admit it but I think its been over three months for me. Maybe more.... I need to snap out of it.

Seems like a major waste of time.

As a game itself according to prestigious taste, sure. But as a project demonstrating that this kind of huge popular cultural entertainment could, at any moment desired, return to firm 80s B Action Movie status? I think that has value. It’s easy to forget that it’s possible.

AK's mod won't fix Fallout 4, but it's laying the groundwork for more of this stuff in the future and, at the very least, it'll make a few reddit and twitter faggots seethe.
