PC RPG Website of the Year, 2015 Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Divinity: Original Sin 2 A Beautifully Desolate Campaign Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. Pathfinder: Wrath
It looked fine to me, but the claustrophobic FOV, lack of even the slightest camera bob while running, and the gunplay based on needing to fire successive short bursts into the popping moles until they die, CoD style, was too much for me to bear.

I know someone thought this war clever but this is so out of left field to where it becomes absurd. Might as well as have the Blood Dragon foot soldiers start gunning down townspeople with their GI Joe lasers.

Walking away results in a bad ending as well it seems, as

(Spoiler just in case)
You end up mind-controlled and the explosions likely happen anyway.

After showing the ending to a friend of mine and talking it over a bit I know exactly what they did. They literally copied the ending Kevin Smith wanted for Red State, just instead of angels killing everything its bombs.

Dear Ubisoft, I know you are trying as hard as you can to achieve those micro transaction games as service quota and deliver your standard product in time for shareholder satisfaction but hear me out... It sounds a hard argument to make but you can make money AND make fun games too, I know, it is hard to believe but hear me out...

I just wanna see, blood, gore and explode shit, I want to explode bears, I want to explode cars, I want to explode houses, I want to explode people too, that dog? Boomer? I want to explode it, your redneck allies? I want to explode them too... the most spectacular the explosion, the better, you know, to be the psychopath I always wanted to be but my mom didn't let me. The rest is just a waste of time.

You see, just make a true sequel to Blood Dragon with Red Faction Guerilla style building destruction, with lots and lots of cyborg blood flowing and big ass explosions, just let me kill shit and explode the whole place like a genocidal prick, you are taking all your shit way too serious and it is boring as fuck. Really, do you think some lame ass writing done on a single year on a focus group comitee is a replacement for good shooting?

Maybe now that they got rid of Vivendi, they'll do better.
Or far worse...

Ubisoft's version has a chance to not have free loot lying everywhere waiting 200 years for you to pick it up so it will automatically be better.

They are STILL hangup on Far Cry 3 they keep attempting to do Vaas were they shouldnt.

I can only laugh at it due to being so utter ridiculous, if you want to do Cold War Apocalypse Cults then realize that it was their paranoia and fear of the Nuclear War that make then work, not having then being right because you are justifying them for your stupid tiwst ending, that reminds me WHO THE FUCK WOULD NUKE MONTANA? its like they hit every viable target and still had a few dozen spare nukes so why the fuck not just drop then anywhere? because they are dropping nukes in the middle of fuck all, there is no reason to waste a nuke on a fucking mountain with a total population of less of 10 thousand.

This is a question of having a good idea and then totally miss the point, I suspect Ubisoft still looks at Vaas and think this is what people want ... no, Vaas worked IN THE CONTEXT OF FAR CRY 3, when they tried the same in 4 it DIDNT and it seems they did exactly the same with 5 and I guess 6 and 7 and 8 until the series finally dies.

Holy shit this shit is actually depressing. They literally made game worse than previous. F3 wasn't some brilliant game, but it was fun and likeable. Then they made F4, which was F3 but in diffrent setting, ok, that could be passable for people who wanted the same but more. But to make F5 worse than every single previous Far Cry is an achievment. This game is pointless. The idea behind this game is pointless.
How can always disappointing studio disappoint even more?

That optimization is actually impressive. Good engine. I hope the next Skyrim features the same performance with the same amount of details.
