I haven't been paying attention, have they said whether or not the levels or randomly generated? Or is it a one and done puzzle game?

I heard (on a forum) it's a limitation of engine they licensed, they were able to change some models on a map, but they were not able to force the engine to work with dynamically generated maps.

Maps aren't randomly generated. Enemy composition/placement and player placement apparently is varied but the maps themselves aren't. Supposedly there are 80+ maps and a campaign will take you through 20-30 missions so you won't see everything through one playthrough, but it's still a bummer.

Seems like in the earlier builds you could recruit actual human beings into your squad instead of those Gears of War inspired flesh golems :/

20-30 missions? What the fuck?
You can indefinitely postpone the final story mission.

You said you'd post one page of review, at lest you'd be able to finish it fast.

Seriously though... I wasn't planning a review so much as I was planning on slapping a few of my favorite Cockdexians into a squad and making a LP/Review of Ironman +5. That's right, MHC, Big Nosed George, Brother None and Vincent "Douche" Weller shall go on an epic adventure of popamole and glory.

I just don't know. My radar is pretty accurate in forecasting whether a game will be shit or not. But it's not completely hating this. It won't have a patch on the old games, but I'm not disgusted, which is the proper and automatic response imminent decline (which it is, but not the worst kind of decline).

It's just so retarded it might even be uninteresting for consoletards - in which case it will bomb.
We can only hope so. Shit like that must go.

"You wanna win?"
"We can't do that, that's cheating."
"Well, it's not cheating 'cause i haven't fixed this yet."
