A visual representation of Stardock's attitude towards Ford and Reiche's intellectual property:
Stardick has to deride it because he knows he is proceding on the flimsiest of pretences. If people were really to look deeper into his shit, they would realise it for what it is: FRAUD.For any who might be interested, some of the people on the UQM forums have put together a Fan FAQ about the lawsuit. It includes a timeline, links to all the court, trademark, and copyright filings, and brief primers on some of the legal concepts.
Frogboy tends to deride it as the work of "armchair lawyers", but hey, it's a wiki, so if any of you see a place to improve it (with properly sourced material), feel free!

Better to nip it in the bud before it gets more attention.
Not if we are kept in the dark. And one method of keeping people in the dark is to viciously deride any scrutiny.Stardick has to deride it because he knows he is proceding on the flimsiest of pretences. Since Stardock's latest filing includes a request for an injunction that could shut down the Ur-Quan Masters project, I think it's safe to say that we're motivated to look deeper. Not that we can really do much about it, but at least we're less likely to be caught by surprise.

Constant dismissal and putting down the opposing narrative also helps to drive the narrative that stardick is in the right and that there is nothing to see. Lazy millenial shits who worship the Kardashians will start taking it as gospel. Just look at the witch hunt that is the #MeToo movement. We even have politicians demonising ALL males here in Australia because a woman got raped and murdered by a retard. An actual mentally disabled twerp. That kind of constant demonising works, which is why we see the support that stardick gets, when there should really be torches and pitchforks outside their offices. Not if we are kept in the dark. Well, the docket is public, and while Stardock has banned most of the people posting contrary narratives from the forums it controls, there is ample discussion taking place on UQM, Reddit, and Qt3, among others.
There was already a Fallout 3 of the franchise. It was called Star Control 3.Constant dismissal and putting down the opposing narrative also helps to drive the narrative that stardick is in the right and that there is nothing to see. I predict stardick's SC would be the equivalent of Fallout 3 for the franchise.
This would be the FO3 DLC, then. The one with the bloated HP sacks. There was already a Fallout 3 of the franchise. It was called Star Control 3.
Trying to mask illegal seizure of other people's property utilising the favourite weapon of the left: lawfare.Wow. Stardock is playing legal hardball.
Fellating? Criminal Cat was downright indulging in character assassination and defamation in order to defend his banging butt buddy Wardell. He even said that it was right of Wardell to "defend his "investment"".There was some serious ass-to-mouth action happening between the two.Stardick is now officially a laughingstock. Even the 'dex who was proudly fellating them a few pages ago now see their true colours.
Should have stuck to something useful Windows skinning or bringing back the Start menu instead of going bargain bin shopping for a beloved franchise to rape.
You are now speaking a foreign language where these fanbois are concerned. "Integrity" is completely alien to their physiological and mental makeup. As long as it is their side that is doing it, any and all crimes are forgiven. They are as bad, if not worse, than leftards. At least he has integrity, can't say the same about someone who supports a known shitshow like Wardell
