uh... Elden Ring and Case of the Golden Idol. I think that's about it.

edit: I've also replayed and beaten Monkey Island 1-3, but I don't think those count as I beat them all on release.

Heretic: Shadow of the Serpent Riders :5/5:
DOOM II: Hell on Earth :4/5:
Secret of the Silver Blades :3/5:
Ultima Underworld: The Stygian Abyss :5/5:

Wizardry VII: Crusaders of the Dark Savant :5/5:
Dark Sun: Shattered Lands :4/5:
The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall :3/5:

These were actually all in the first half of the year. The last 6 months I've had a bad habit of playing the first 50% of a game and then starting something new.

Pacific General (sibling of Panzer General) :4/5: - surprisingly fun and more naval focused

(Disciples Liberation, AC Valhalla, FC 6, Anno 1800, Pathfinder WotR, Exp Rome, Solasta, Rage 2, Maneater, The Outer Worlds, Dungeon of Naheulbeuk)

Games started but not finished:

The Waylanders - basically an alpha release
King Arthur Knights Tale - stuck on Chapter 4
Spellforce 3 Soul Harvest - RTS sections are crazy difficult
Vampyr - stuck on one of the bosses
Sifu - stuck on level 2
Where the Water tastes like Wine - not sure what the goal of the game is
Saints Row 3 Remastered - Didn't care for it much.

Solasta: Crown of the Magister - :5/5::4/5:
Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous - :3/5::0/5:
World of Horror (It's early access but pretty much a finished product) - Pretty neat at first when you play it blind.
Pachinko Sexy Reaction - Cute. But why would you make a gambling arcade boob game.

Uhhh... that's it?

That's it, I think. I wanted to finish NWN OC, but after 10 hours or so I've decided I don't want to touch it ever again. I would've finished Nox, but my save file got corrupted midway through. Sad, cool little game.

A thread made for me! I keep track of every game I have ever beaten (only goes back to 2013) for the sake of future nostalgia.
Baldur's Gate 2 :4/5:
Ultima V: Warriors of Destiny: :5/5:
Superhot: :2/5:
Battle For Bikini Bottom Re-hydrated: :3/5:
Spyro The Dragon: :3/5:
CTRL ALT EGO: :4/5:

Only five games this year which pales in comparison to the sixteen I played through in 2021 but I started a new job which takes up a good portion of my free time. This year can be described as "quality not quantity." I started plenty of games this year but only stuck with the ones that resonated with me. Even Superhot, the "worst" game I played through in 2022, managed to captivate me with fun gameplay that was ultimately ruined by a restricting narrative. As for RPGs I can now say that my preference lies in non-linear experiences with a focus on exploration. My time has been limited this year but what time I have dedicated to gaming has been memorable!

Shadow Warrior 2013 :4/5:
beat on hard with the intention of a new game + run on extreme (or whatever it's called) but shit got unfun hard after the first boss

Hard Reset - original recipe :5/5:
I'm a sucker for cyberpunk flavor, and this just oozes it. The environments and music are perfect. Would love an RPG in this setting. It's also a shame Flying Wild Hog got so caught up on Shadow Warrior games that this original IP got ditched. I had to put it down when I got to the DLC levels after the main game because shit got frustrating.

Rerun
Bioshock (not the bugshit enhanced edition)- It's still p. good, and the art direction remains charming

I think that's it

In order:

Blood Omen Legacy of Kain
Project Wingman
Ace Combat 6
Elden Ring
Atelier Sophie 2
Brigandine LoR (well, 90% through)
Xenoblade 3 (biggest timesink)
Parasite Eve
Kuon
Fatal Frame 2
Fatal Frame 3
Fatal Frame 4
Fire Emblem Three Hopes

Decent haul. Very long JRPGs tend to result in shorter lists.

That's all I can think of as of now. The two Sega Saturn games (Nights and Guardian Heroes) I've beaten multiple times in previous years, and the two Yakuza games I also played through last year. Yeah, I like weeb games.

Very unproductive gaming year for me; went only from October to December 2001 on my chronological play list.

Only "new" (to me) game I completed was Wizardry 8.

Spent lots of time on OpenXcom and OpenXcom: Terror from the Deep. Got burnt out trying to Iron Man TFTD on highest difficulty.

Played lots of user-made content for Thief, Thief 2, Age of Wonders and HoMM 3.

We need a :hipster rating (or maybe I'm possibly out of touch with what the kids are playing these days).
