Kenties should have come bundled within if you downloaded GMDX v8.0 FULL. I really advise against any other version, but yeah, you can download kenties/new Vision separately.
I've just added the parameters from the shortcut properties box to steam parameter's box. I'm not on my computer now so i can't paste them here...
Weird how that game never received any sort of major overhaul, given its glaring issues and amount of modder effort that went into another game that shares its tech (Deadly Shadows).Remake Invisible War. That's the game that needs it
Another thing about Mods, unless Dan Simmons writes it, any mod for Deus Ex is just going to feel bland compared to the original, don't you think?
I prefer to just ignore the Deus Ex part in the title. HR and MD are different games with a different philosophy, set in a different universe with different themes and influences, with just enough of Deus Ex in their design to elevate them above the majority of modern popamole. It was obvious from the start that they had a very specific direction they wanted to take their series into thematically, with the Deus Ex part being something of a hindrance more than anything else because of its incompatibility with their vision, and all in all it'd probably be best if the two series were just treated as separate entities altogether.Well, he is kind of right with that point.
The story lines don't really fit together.
And trying to make some weird connection between the games would only end up extremely horrible, screwing things up even more.
So I'd agree it is probably best to view the new games as a reboot.
Well. Ideas are plentiful, but I suspect implementation is impossible.Lol the above first sentence doesn't even make sense. Oh well, back to programming virtual entities to behave more intelligently. If anyone has any ideas in that regard be sure to throw them my way.

One thing I've always wanted to see is AI that behaves rationally during patrols. If you walk past a door 20 times, and then the 21st time that night, its open, you'd think that would trigger some sort of reaction (especially if its a door to a storage shack or sewer access or a closed store or something else that shouldn't be open). Same thing for crates/items that have been moved around.
Like I say though, nigh impossible to define what reasonable reaction is, and implementing isn't much easier.
Making them behave more intelligently in combat might be cool too. Less running blindly towards the player, more flanking and working like a group (think FEAR).

I guess that tells a lot, both about the number of truly dedicated IW fans, and about how much it is "valued" by general Deus Ex community.
