They put in every IE game except IWD2. My GOG IE collection can't be full without it.

Finally, I managed to get a game for FREE on that sale. It turned out that it is Anodyne. I have never heard of it but I fulfilled my ultimate target (which was getting some game for free). Btw. those free games are only one click away.

I already felt the 4 hours offers on Steam were really bad, but this model feels totally retarded.
I'm a big fan of GOG and saving jewgold in general, but staring all day to the page and refresh spam is really something bad. I'm suprirsed to see this is working, judging from the chorus of smashed F5 keys I can hear from here.

Looking at that pricelist, most prices are same or worse than each game's Steam sale prices (or even previous GOG sales). Not really worth wasting the time playing GOG's retarded artificial scarcity game, with very few exceptions. I guess I'll go from mostly ignoring this sale to completely ignoring it.

I cannot agree with You. They made a themed promo, an insomnia promo and it's greatly realized. Far better than any weekend promo. If games can have a plot then game promos can have a theme. And this theme is very good, better than puzzle promo which was a couple of months ago and far better than mindless weekend promos. Also, You don't need to refresh

It could have been great if it were more condensed, i.e. they should have put up multiple offers simultaneously. The way it is it's just tediously waiting for that game you don't want/already have to sell out. It might work on the whole, but it doesn't really work out for the individual.

And yes, I'm extremely butthurt I didn't get any of the free games, despite trying multiple times.

Though it's not ideal for the customer, it does ensure that every game will sell a set minimum copies. Whether some games deserve to sell that many is another question, but at least everyone gets a bit of the action.

How many of said free games have you personally managed to grab? How much time have you had to waste sitting on GOG's site?

I guess not everyone's time is worth the same amount so yeah, maybe getting one or two 5 buck games for free is worth a few hours for some, but I'm not seeing the appeal.
