And holy shit PS:T has outsold BG2! It's now the best-selling game ever on GOG!

It's only because retards buy enchanced edition on steam these days and NWN1 will outsell PS:T eventually, because Bioware.

Rest assured that decline is as strong as ever.

For those who haven't noticed yet, you can now see what's inside the boxes before choosing them. Furthermore, you can get a new set of boxes by clearing your cookies and reloading the page, so you can more or less choose any game from the special offers. Here's a list with the discounts (which seem to vary somewhat): http://af.gog.com/forum/general/dai..._2013_drmfree_winter_sale/post1?as=1649904300
Shit, son! Thanks, that ONE RULE to get myself the first three Tomb Raider games for 2.49$ bux.

Wait, are we not supposed to see what's in there? I've always shown the product, I just assumed you were hoping to get a 'free' one.

You could not see them in the first days - it was a "surprise" gift and as soon as you revealed one, you could never see the others, even if you didn't want to buy it.

I rebought PS:T about year ago or sth like that, when they were offering discount on all D&D games. The game came out with a Colin's book. Anyone read it? Is it any good? I want to give a shot, but I would appreciate some opinions first to not risk wasting my time.

Well shit. As much as the repeated cleaning of cookies is a useful tactic in obtaining a better selection, it seems that I was naive enough to beleive that it was a random choice of their entire catalog, as the titles I'd been actively waiting for aren't in the current list (which makes sense now in hindsight, as the current publishers/rights holders have been pretty stingy in discounts).

Still, guess 50% off is better than nothing.

Open gog.com in a browser you don't regularly use. Check out the dailies. Don't like it? Clear cache and reload. Repeat until you see a game you want, then click on it and log in to buy it.

And hurry up before someone at GOG reads this exploit and have it fixed.

They should add more classics before I buy anything else from them. Nothing left that's interesting.

I don't think that they will fix it. They would have to show the "daily surprise" functionality only to the logged in users.

How good is Volgarr the Viking? Is it as good as the gog reviews say it is? (i.e: very much like castlevania and ghouls n ghosts?)

(totally not biased staff response :P )

It is very much like the original Castlevania and Ghosts 'n' Goblins in terms of difficulty. Also, the better you are the higher the chance that you'll discover the the orbs that lead to the Path of the Valkyrie which is basically the harder versions of each stage. The controls are very tight even on the keyboard but I seriously recommend playing it with an XBOX 360 controller for maximum comfort as I know I was suffering some major pain after playing on the keyboard. That could be because I am getting old or something :D

The game also features 3 different endings, each depending on how you finished the game. Volgarr the Viking has been made with speedrunners in mind so if you like speedrunning but without having to resort to glitches then this game's for you :)

Only Fallout trilogy, tried few mods for F:T and playing with map editor. Still thinking about making some horde-mode map somehow.
