Grab the Codex by the pussy Divinity: Original Sin Torment: Tides of Numenera Shadorwun: Hong Kong Pathfinder: Kingmaker Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture
I actually enjoyed Might and Magic 8 more than I did 7. It was a bit broken in regards to balance, but I liked playing a party of monster types. I didn't like the dungeon design of Might and Magic 7, which I felt was a step down from MM6. I posted this before, but this is how I would rate them:

MM1>MM2>MM4/5>MM6>MM3>MM8>MM7

Out of the nine Might and Magics I also am only missing MM9, but the reviews both on the Codex and elsewhere are so poor that I wouldn't even shell out the $1.49 just to be a completionist. Life is too short and the number of good old school CRPGs too long to waste time and money on drivel.

Thanks, I guess the time would be better spent working on my GOG backlog.

Is MM9 worth the $1.49 price tag? I know it's awful, unfinished and full of empty space, but it's the only MM I don't have in my GOG collection.
With MM9 it's not this price that's a waste, it's the time you'd spend playing it. $1.49 is nothing if it gives you the satisfaction to know that you now own all existing M&M games (until MMX comes out). So go ahead and get it. Just be sure not to play it.

Personally I bought MM9 purely to have the complete series and the soundtrack - but I really enjoy the soundtracks of the MM games, so YMMV. :)

Bought Aarklash:Legacy since it was 50% off and Realms of the Haunting since it coming up soon on my play list.
I was surprised that Realms of the Haunting's installer is a whopping 1.4 GB. Isn't that extreme for a game from 1996?
Pretty average for a game from that era, really. New tech was starting to emerge, but the formats being used were not particularly well optimized (not that they really are nowadays) and tended to result in 4-6 disc monstrosities, even for relatively short games.

Pretty sure MM9 on GOG includes some mods that supposedly make the game somewhat decent. I haven't played it though, so don't ask me.

Went for the 4X bundle (well, the 3 titles I didn't have from it - Fragile Allegiance, Colonization and GalCiv 1). Anyone else here tried them?

Colonization was a pretty sweet little game that I spent a lot of time on, even if it is a bit on the easy side.
Fragile Allegiance had some decent ideas (such as hurling mined out asteroids towards your opponents' asteroid bases), I seem to recall it's in real-time. I thought it was decent when I played it at the time, but I'm not sure how it holds up today.

Don't forget about fan patches for M&M 6-8 from GrayFace that enable mouselooking, sprint and WASD control and other handy stuff.

Not to mention patch(es?) for M&M9.
Played MM6 with the Grayface patch, I couldn't go back to playing without it anymore. It is essential.

It's funny that Grayface added mouselook to MM6-8 just because we complained about it in the Might and Magic megathread, someone wrote to him requesting this feature, and he added it because he found it a "worthwhile challenge" or something, for once complaining on the Codex leads to any change.

If you liked Civilization at all, Colonization is a must. It's similar but different enough to be a lot of fun.

Soo, my timeless classic for today is Anachronox. At -75% off (for $1.5) is it worth it?
I don't have much time to play, but I had my eye on this game before.

Yes, yes, yes!
It might not be the best RPG from a mechanics point of view, but it is one of the best regarding atmosphere and sheer fun.
Unfortunately, the first one or two hours of the game (in some dark city) are the worst, but after that it only gets better. One of the last games that kept me away from sleep.
