Definitely not EYE, because it's on HL2 engine, like VtM: Bloodlines so it's Steam only.
I don't think that's why VtMB is Steam only. I think it's because Activision is steam only.

Titanfall doesn't use Steam and it's Source Engine.

Zeno Clash is also Source Engine btw.

I think it's not going to be EYE or Zeno Clash because those games are available and already "see the light of day".

Masterfully done. Nice touch with mentioning the other video and using the term "grammar nazi."

There's an adventure game sale going on atm that includes the Tex Murphy games.

Are the first two games worth playing? Or is it better to just go with the FMV trilogy?

The first game is remade into the fifth game, so storywise it's retconned by Overseer.
The second game is the first step into the right direction, that is no action/driving but pure AVG fun (bar timed sequence) although the UI is still atrocious. Some characters also pop out in the third game, so there is definitely storywise connection. So worth playing if you are already a Tex Murphy fan. If not I think it's better to go with FMV trilogy especially if you are a newfag (like me) who can't oldschool game.

I just remembered a classic I had tons of fun playing, Mechcommander, and turns out Microsoft gave it away for free or something back in the day. It's a bitch to get working on 64-bit systems though. Gog version when?

:bro:
I played it, too, it was a fun squad-based tactics game. I never got very far into it, but I would like to play it again. I liked how the intro movie depicted a commander "playing the game" from the command center.

I wish someone would make something like mechcommander but with more BT rules implemented and with infantry (which would be the only unit that would be able to capture buildings). With hordes of infantry.

MechCommander was so cool but I never finished it. Can't remember why though, its just too long ago. I remember buying mechs, equipping appropriate stuff, getting new pilots, using the terrain to your advantage .. that game was really great, would definitely buy it.

Sorry if thats been asked here before, but is there a specific reason that the GoldBox games are not available on GoG?

I am missing X-Com too..
