Lame move on the Divinity sale. Everyone and their mother has Divine Divinity, but I'd pay $1 for Beyond Divinity for sure. No doubt the $20 "average" you have to beat is just what the Divinity 2 package will cost anyway.

And why not? Throwing your money away to buy bad stuff is a sign of prosperity. Thousands of Apple customers understand that.

Is it actually bad? :( I've heard it's got issues and is not as good as the original but I've heard that some people enjoy it... kinda.

It is basically Larian's own Lionheart. (I myself have never played it, but I've read enough to just say no).

Then the cheapest price is $1 and that's only for the first game. God damn you potato people that's not paying what I want for an anthology at all!

Well I already have Divine Divinity from GOG and I have no intention of getting Beyond Divinity. I also have a boxed* version of Divinity 2 DKS which I got cheap (like 10 eurobucks). But it's a good way for Larian to get extra founding for their new games.

*by boxed I mean a dvd inside a dvd case and a .pdf manual M: Long live eastern yurop!

It's nice for Larian to try and get some money for their new project, but the "Pay what you want for the Divinity Anthology" title of this sale sours my mood somewhat. That's disingenuous.

Anyway, I already have the first two games on on GOG and Divinity II: DKS on Steam, so there's really not much in this sale for me.

How does Blitzkrieg compare to Sudden Strike? I mostly liked SS but the pathfinding in that game almost killed me. Is this game better in that regard?

No, they both had the sam publisher but were developed by different companies. To be honest the thing I liked most about SS was watching little tanks blowing each other up. :P

SS biggest problem was how relentless it could be sometimes, plus micromanaging every unit and the shitty pathfinding. Then there were times that it was outright brutal. The "Officer up front, tank and the repair vehicle right behind" wouldn't even help you.

Blitzkrieg is a sort of nonentity, I'm pretty sure I played it but can't recall a single mission. Between SS and Man of War it sort of fades out.

Incline of GoG / Ubishit.

Simple "60% off for everything" promo, without this "the more you buy, the bigger the discount gets" bullshit.

Ubisoft catalogue is 60% off.

Got me XIII. Hope it's similar to NOLF.

It's not like NOLF at all and it's a bad FPS. The only interesting thing about it is the graphic style, especially the comic book boxes and effects appearing when you do stealth or special kills. Enemies use cel-shading, which is ok in this instance, but the environments are bland and barely detailed at all. The gameplay is standard FPS and mind-numbing. I found it funny but this game was praised for its story, which is adapted from the XIII serie by Jean Van Hamme and William Vance, but the game only covers the first 5 books out of 19 (of which the first 12 range from good to great and the remaining ones go from decent to bad) and even then exclusively focuses on the conspiracy, which as you can see takes a rather small part in the whole serie, while forgetting the characters. On the subject of characters, the voice acting is bad, but at least laughably so, with Duchovny delivering an apathic performance that has to be heard to be believed, and the Major Jones, who is otherwise a smart, calm and ressourceful woman, is turned into a generic gangsta badass nigger from da ghetto by some rap singer cum voice actress.

So yeah, enjoy.

I went ahead and got Heroes 3 Complete along with the Heroes Chronicles and HoMM5. I already have MM3 thru MM9 from personal purchases.
