Leaving the drama for a moment.

Anyone got any good classic RTS game to recommend before the sale is over? In a serious RTS mood after finishing Starship Troopers.

Some of the better known ones:
Total Anihilation (total classic! everyone must play this! also has a ton of mods)
Dark Reign (the controls are kinda stiff and the AI is ruthless, but otherwise a top tier C&C clone with very advanced mechanics)
Battle Realms (Wu Xia setting and unique mechanics, highly recommend)
Ground Control 1&2 (no base building, just good old tactics)
Homeworld (the first game is a masterpiece, the second is kinda shit)
Seven Kingdoms 1&2 (kinda like a mix between Civilization and an RTS, very unique; get the first game from https://7kfans.com/ - it's open source now)

If you want some interesting hybrids try:
Battlezone FPS-RTS (really good)
Spellforce series RPG-RTS (p. mid, but they have some interesting features)
Sacrifice (made by Shiny, nuff said)
Populous The Beginning (RTS and god game; use this mod https://thebeginning.uk/multiverse/ to play it)

Some obscure titles which aren't the best objectively, but are still worth a look:
KKND 1&2 (my personal favorite C&C clones)
Submarine Titans (unique setting, but the controls and mission design are lack luster)
Cossacks series (again a unique setting, but the campaigns are poorly structured and the AI is non-existent)
Metal Fatigue (very unique and eurojanky title about mechs!)

And of course, the best RTS of all time that no one has ever played: NetStorm !!! https://www.netstormhq.net/

this is just pure virtue signaling

you could simply buy a couple of digital copies as gifts for your friends or even total strangers from some dirt poor country like poland for example - not like they will need more resources to make them

i bet he doesn't even play those games

She's a trollop and she likes parading her butt around like a buffet. The fighter don't mind as he's a perv. The mage looks like he??? Gets annoyed and disgusted. Must be gay or doesn't like humans.

All that said, the game is homeage to Legacy of the Wizard NES imho. That isn't bad but when i first played legacy, i had no manual as i bought it at a thrift show. I had no fucking clue what to do.

I still think she loves spankings.

German buyers beware! gog only sells a censored version of Kane & Lynch 2 and (unlike Steam) doesn't even have the courtesy to warn you about this on the store page.

To say nothing about the wanton idiocy of selling a "Complete Edition" at double the price, when all the additional content of said Complete Edition consists of Multiplayer stuff, a mode that has apparently been disabled for the gog version.

Aren't they required to sell the censored version by law?
It's a bit more complicated than that. The uncensored version of K&L2 isn't "banned" in Germany, it's on a government blacklist of media "harmful to minors". Any games on that list can't be sold publically. It basically works the same way video rental shops would treat pornography, it's strictly under the counter stuff - but it's not banned per se and it could be sold in theory. In practice this would mean that online game retailers would have to implement an "Adults Only" section that can only be accessed after you send them a copy of your ID. Obviously, neither Steam nor gog have bothered with this.

Squeenix went full retard with these blacklisted games (in particular K&L2 and Sleeping Dogs) and even disabled redeeming keys for the uncut versions for German users - despite there not really being any legal requirement to do so.

The way this particular release differs from previous gog releases of blacklisted games is that gog used to simply IP lock them instead of selling region-exclusive censored versions, and usually only after having the uncensored version available for a couple of days. I blind bought (and have since refunded) K&L2 fully expecting that I'd get the uncut version and that they simply hadn't implemented the IP lock yet. (In their pre-2015 glory days gog didn't bother at all with Germany's retardo censorship rules and just sold blacklisted/banned games to their hearts' content)

If it makes you feel better, it's a pretty meh game. Bad followup to a rather good game.

German have extremely retarded law regarding video games. Last time I check Necrovision wasn't being sell on the german page of gog, because it would be too much hassle to release it in a form compliant with their law.

In Finland there was a certain chain of department stores where you could find adult DVDs in the same section with the rest, but of course sitting on the top shelves, and far away from the kid stuff. It's up to the firm CEOs to decide such guidelines as there's no law against this, but practices like that often tend to stop because the local managements get flooded with granny complaints, and adult articles in generic brick & mortar stores just won't sell anyway. Now during the internet shopping-age these stores can relocate their adult products (films, toys) to their online catalog.
