It basically works the same way video rental shops would treat pornography, it's strictly under the counter stuff - but it's not banned per se and it could be sold in theory.

In Finland there was a certain chain of department stores where you could find adult DVDs in the same section with the rest, but of course sitting on the top shelves, and far away from the kid stuff. It's up to the firm CEOs to decide such guidelines as there's no law against this, but practices like that often tend to stop because the local managements get flooded with granny complaints, and adult articles in generic brick & mortar stores just won't sell anyway. Now during the internet shopping-age these stores can relocate their adult products (films, toys) to their online catalog.

I mean, in Germany you can find adult magazines (probably soft aka no shown penetration) like that too (magazine stores, supermarkets etc). But like you said, it's just on the top shelves...still clearly visible though. The exeption might have been the Bravo which featured nude minors (boys and girls) and was easily accessible for everyone. No clue which kind of people bought that but for some reason, it was lying around at the dentist as well.

Former depictions of teenage nudity

The magazine was controversial internationally for its section Dr. Sommer's That's Me!, which often featured sex interviews and full frontal nude photos of teen models aged between 14 and 20, which was later changed to 16 to 20 in the early 2000s.[13][14] While this was legal in Germany, it caused problems with international child pornography laws. The magazine often worked around the laws by having the models hold the camera's shutter button themselves, thereby showing explicit consent. One former model told interviewers that he did not know his nude image was going to be sold by the photographer to Bravo for publication in That's Me![15]

From the early 2010s onwards, the magazine would rename the feature to Dr. Sommer's Bodycheck and feature those only aged between 18 and 25.

Well now, "Dr. Sommer's Bodycheck" sounds much less lurid.

In the words of Black Science Man: "Germans do be like that".

Berlin authorities placed children with pedophiles for 30 years

The 'Kentler Project' in West Berlin routinely placed homeless children with pedophile men, assuming they'd make ideal foster parents. A study has found the practice went on for decades.

What in the absolute double dogshit retard faggot is wrong with that bastard? The games that sell for -80% would be freeware by now.

It's gotta be an alt GOG employee account. Gotta be. No one without ulterior motives would ever say something so entirely devoid of rational thought.

Gog has really gone downhill over the last few years, but their forum is the gift that keeps on giving.

Bloody annoying. I don't care about the rep, but downvoting was a way of ignoring ultra annoying users.
Now I will probably stop using GOGs forum altogether (not that I used it much, though).

still waiting for Cryo to come back
Hmm? I can see the Atlantis series, Lost Eden, Dragon Lore and MegaRace. Is there something they had that they removed? I'm sure the reason why they haven't added any of the early Windows ones is because they're waiting for SCUMMVM devs to add support for them working hard on making them compatible for modern Windows systems.

I was thinking about early Windows games. Sure you can make playable version for some customers but not for everyone can be lucky enough to enjoy them.
While it happens with GOG games (where some folks can't enjoy them due to technical issues) when it comes to that era of gaming - it will be majority, not minority this time.
P. sure people get mad when only some percentage of customers gets playable version while others are shit out of luck. So much waiting for so much disapointment. Oh joy of early Windows games...
