Ok, I'm sorry if I don't understand the difference between being freeware and having their source code released.

You're the reason lawyers tell publishers not to release source code.

So I'm helping the economy by keeping lawyers employed? There's an upside, right?

Fuck Body Blows, Total Overdose is out on GOG!

For any sad people who might not be aware, Total Overdose is what Max Payne would have looked like if it was made by Robert Rodriguez: bright, Mexican and totally over the top. It is unique in that it has a point system that awards you more points for killing enemies in the pimpest John Woo-est fashion possible, which is why every gunfight you get into involves you Matrix-dodging into a horde of tequula-swilling gangsters, taking out 3 guys with pistols akimbo headshots and then somersaulting off walls and doing wacky backflips while firing full auto at the remaining enemies for maximum points. A great spectacle. Also features explosive pinatas and a mariachi guitar case with a minigun installed.

Highly, highly recommended by me, even though the driving physics are comically awful. They can be ignored and are unimportant.

:salute: Would pay for a proper sequel, for sure.

There's no need to be redundant.

Dwarf? Barbarian is best! Also what happened to the Severance bit anyway?

I'm conflicted about purchasing this, will probably skip it since I still have a working copy.

Pirated BoD before, couldn't work out the controls and had graphical glitches, which I suspect had something to do with my poor poor yarr'ed copy. Definitely getting this, seeing as it is one of two games not to have hordes of 2cool2likegames haters on RPGcodex, the other game being Wiz8.

So, ummmmm, I never played this game back in the day and I hear people calling Blade of Darkness the Dark Souls of its time. Is this true? Because I loved Dark Souls and I am looking for more :D

(Contrary to what you might think, I don't get the chance to play too many games at work :P)

GOG forums going apeshit over GOG selling their first DLC pack. Amusing butthurt.
