JudasIscariot When are you fine folks announcing the winners for the oldest fags contest from yesterday? I noticed a new giveaway started but there wasn't a list of the previous days winners. Pretty sure I had the max age date and was in the top 100 first responders. Where MA MONIES???

I quote:

"You have time until tomorrow, that's Tuesday, October 1, at 2:59PM GMT to enter the giveaway"

As far as announcing the winners goes, it depends on how long it takes to process everything. Usually a few days after the contest ends.
I CAN NOT INTO 3RD WORLD TIMEZONES!!!!

I didn't know that Greenwich, England was third world now :P
Anything not :patriot:is 3rd world in my book.

High potato contamination.

You mean enrichment :P

Whatever.
In your dreams, huehuehue

Also - have you talked with D.W.Bradley? What's his state about digital re-release like your pawnshop and eventualy release his games on GOG? I'm sure the man who release one game 3 times (beta/alpha, Collector Edition, MMXIII) should be interested.
Or you hide behind some NDA or other stuff that mark this topic in "see y'all in some future" and prevent you from talk?

Srsly, put Wizards&Warriors on GOG and give this man incentive to make sequel.

Yes, having W&W on GOG would be sweeeet. Especially if they can tweak it to run on newer machines, heh.

W&W is one of the two worth playing games that I cannot get running properly on my win xp pc so yes - I second that.

Don't work on XP? Strange, I've got Vista and was suprised - W&W work well (got game from CDA and installed one patch). This game is some kind of technical abomination (city background in AVI files? Seriously?), wouldn't be suprised if GOG releas is delayed by technical and compatibility issues.
Game works best on notebooks (batteries), there is some game stages that require shifting between Economical Mode and Full Speed like underwater Atlantis-like area with rotating obstacle that's just froze on better GPU than average graphic card from 2000-2001.

Yep, I remember that when I tried running it normally the town screens were messed up, scrolling instantly and making some of the locations impossible to access. There was a way to fix this, but it resulted in graphics turning into a mess. It was either one or the other, I never found a way to beat that.

I tried all possible fixes but couldn't make it run decently on neither my XP nor my Win7 machine. So sad :(

So there is no one besides me and Lonely Vazdru (who also made LP on the Codex) who finished this cool game?
Such a shame...

Seems I'm lucky but in this case people should have chance to try it.

What bugs me is that I love DW Bradley's Wizardries and I know I'm going to love Wizards & Warriors... as soon as I get it to run. Such a bummer. :/

I think I got Wizards & Warriors running on one of my modern machines but didn't have time to play it through. I'll try to remember what I did to get it working... had to jump through some hoops for sure. I'd like to give it a proper play-through anyway.

Have you tried any of the fixes here? http://www.jeffludwig.com/wizardswarriors/download.php
Scroll down to the mods, I use Win7 64bit and managed to get it working with them.

Yeah, I tried everything I could find on the internet, those fixes included. I think I wasted a few days trying to get the game to run with all possible fixes/options. Still no luck.

I don't know if we talked to him or not as that's not my department and if I knew, then, yes, I'd hide behind my NDA :P

Sorry for the answer that you didn't want to read/hear :/

Re-volt makes me want to see Rollcage and MindRover on GOG - think those were on the same PCG demo disc I played way back so they are forever linked in my mind.

In case you missed it, we updated the Mac version of Total Annihilation Commander Pack. This update now has working multiplayer and fixes the resolution issue where you could only play the game in 640 X 480.

0,64 potato. Well, crap...
All I wanted was Kingpin aka headpuncher-with-a-crowbar-in-dark-alley simulator. Got original but everytime something explode - game crash. What an irony.
It was issue for soundards from motherboard, buying SoundBlaster fixed it.

BTW. When SIN+addon will come?

Also - any chance for some old Techland classics? Like Crime Cities or Extermination (need fix)?
How it work here? Ubi decide about release now?

Stonekeep is the only Interplay RPG/Shooter I don't own and I know I would never replay it.
Replay?
You've beaten it? So... why bother?

I went into Fairy Realm and stopped.

You never replay games you finished? I do all the time.

That said I think I quit around where you did. I was younger and had little patience. Also game isn't that good IMO (fuck off!).
