It's one of those sub-genres that never caught on, but really should have. You either have Musou with no real strategic layer (Dynasty Warriors etc.) or...uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Rise and Fall? (which felt like a regular RTS with a camera hack)

Out of habit I check these guys twitter accounts to see if they aren't retarded. It's a pretty good predictor of future behavior in their vids. In theory I'd live and let live with their tankie politics as long as they didn't let it affect their videos. But the problem is THEY can't. The pattern is always the same with these people. I enjoy watching their videos for a time. But then they decide the coast is clear and it's time to become a political channel. Or ruin a review with their badly thought out manifesto. They can believe whatever stupid shit they want to but I don't want them talking about that in my gaming videos.

My Eldest and middle sons both were really into Digimon. Obviously it was a bit after my time but I can understand the autistic appeal of having to collect all those wee creatures. My youngest daughter was into Pokemon of course which caused so many annoying fights I had to break up.
