Why do people talk about Morrowind in 2023? Mods, CHIM, Muatra, Kirkbride, belly magic, Lifts-Her-Tail.

There, just fucking saved you an hour of your life.

Zoomers who never played a game before 2010 are an untapped market it seems.

Fuck you youtuber, I did play it and it was awesome. It did came at the tail end of the RTS genre's popularity on PC I'd say. None of my friends liked AoE 3.

So the secret to a successful retro gaming channel is to turn twenty minutes of information into five hours.

Long form video essays were a mistake.
Gotta use them properly...
As background noise.

That's all people do with this shit, put it on and then fall asleep. That's like retards who think they can "read" audiobooks while doing twenty other things, why even bother?
Depends on what you want to get out of it. If you are consciously using it as background noise while doing chores or as a sleeping aid, then the lack of information retention doesn't matter since that wasn't what you were aiming for with it in the first place. Same shit as with leaving the TV or radio on in the background which is something that plenty of people do as well, with these long form essays just being a more recent equivalent to that.

That's just my tism' acting up then. I wouldn't put on a ten hour long video retrospective on OXO just to sleep to it, I'd expect to learn something. Not that I'd ever watch a ten hour long video on any subject.
