How is exploration, good like in Gothic or shitty like in DA:I?

Gothic didn't have a compass, fast travel points, level scaled enemies, or map markers.

The world is divided into zones like DA:I. There are campsites like in DA:I. The developers themselves cited DA:I as a design inspiration.

Am I the only one getting framerate drops like *mad* on a game with PS3 character models?

It's crazy what I'm getting with a solid GPU/CPU for this engine, AC Odyssey is much more consistent
Game runs fine for me, played it both on my laptop and home PC.

So how's the performance? Anyone running this on a 970gtx?

An educated guess would be "shit, unless you're on lowest". A game that has min req of a 2 GB GTX 660 but recommended spec is an 8GB RX 590 that has incomparably more horsepower is usually coded by monkeys and runs like ass when you hit medium settings and up.

There is a huge difference between the ultra texture and high the game constantly lagged on ultra but runs fine on high with my 960gtx 4gb. Overall the performance isn't great, especially in the cities, though loading times are short.
Still, I really like it, it reminds me of The Witcher 1 and 2 but with better combat. I just do not understand why ammo is so rare playing a gunner is near impossible without cheating ammo.

If you have Science 2 you can make your own ammo? Maybe this helps?

You only need 1 point in science, then craft a flask for one of your empty slots on your armor, which adds another point to your science skill. You need a ruby, which you can buy from the merchant in New Selene and if you don’t have any points in crafting, you can pay the blacksmith to craft it for you.

A major design flaw Greedfall shares with The Technomancer is that non-combat skills are divided into a seperate upgrade category.

Why bribe or sneak past enemies when your character is an OP god no matter what? There needs to be some trade off in order to give non-combat skills meaning.

Oh yeh of little faith, does roleplaying amount to so little in your worldview that you need an incentive for it

Roleplaying isn't fun if your character has no weaknesses.

But you only get one talent point every five levels. There are six talents with three ranks each—it would take 90 levels to max them all out. Say 60 levels if you can find enough items that give you +1. You’re supposed to finish the game around level 40-50. For the vast bulk of your playtime, you absolutely need to specialize.

For attributes, you get 1 point every 4th level. There are six attributes with five ranks each. They gate your ability to use the best weapons and armor. You’d have to hit level 120 to max everything out. In a normal playthrough, you can max out 2 of 6, with maybe a couple of points in a third one.

I really enjoy how lying is instantly rewarded in the game. Let the heretics flee to the Bridge Alliance, then boldy lie to the Inquisitor that alas you came too late to stop them and earn instant reputation reward. I wonder how far you can go in the game while playing each faction

Are these little apartments all passive? Is there a difference between passive skills(small flats) and adding Socket? The game seems to repeat itself a lot. Only 3rd Class. How does the dialogue system work? Is there a mechanic like "[strength] I'll kill you"? Or is our muscle strength 1/5 perk? (Does it have mechanical functionality?) I didn't see anything worth playing. I think I'll keep waiting. Looking forward to a good review. Maybe I'il buy it. -)
