I think the class changing is going to keep the same requirements but once met it will be possible to change class at any time. This is a good compromise from the way it works now which is pretty draconian. I have altered the class changing interface to reflect this.

No more level 10 then, back to full Wizardry mode? Yay, exploitable!!!

Or requirements include level 10? Then it makes zero sense. You still need endgame level to change class, you are still crippled by reset stats, and can keep crippling yourself further by resetting stats more?

Working as intended. Zero sense, nothing like consistency :)

Note that Cleve posted it on a thread asking about the manual - no one even mentioned class changing there.

Not much point in waiting for a "proper" manual whilst some of the game mechanics/features are up in the air.

It's not as if he can send it off for printing to fulfil the Indiegogo pledges.

A quick reference card possibly or a WIP manual - already have most of that information available now through STEAM guides.

Even the Wizardry manuals don't break down the exact formulas for game mechanics.

If the next update changes all the class requirements the tables would all need rewriting.

With GRIMOIRE you're in it for the long haul.

Well, when I ask for the manual, what I am really asking for I guess is 'make the game match the old manual, or make the old game match the new manual', either will do. It isn't so much the manual per se I want, it is just an explanation of what doesn't work, what partially works, and what does work. You wouldn't think that would too much of an ask, especially now that we have cleared up the GUI issue apparently.

Nobody cares, Biggus. If it comes from you it is TL;DR crap. Now I am going to show you what that means.

No, if you make the attribute requirements you can switch. A career path without level limits.

Oh, don't say old bean anyone, lest you be mistaken for Phil Moore.

"Old bean" is classic Phil Moore ULTRA-FAGGOTRY!!! He thinks saying it makes him sound tougher than Charles Bronson!

Phil, have you been punched in the face as an adult? Of course not. Nobody who has been punched in the face even once continues to use an expression like "Old Bean."

"Old Bean" - I think that is the name of a Sydney Mardi Gras float! Maybe the one Phil rides on each year! In a thong and face glitter!

You should fly Zep Zepo in, Phil - his wife could be one of the floats, it would save a huge amount of money! Zep. who is the wide receiver on your magic cuck farm of mangoo smoothies?

Can you switch more than once?
Can you switch to any class or just 3 options like it is now?
Did you fix the bug where you switch to a class but do not get the new skills of the class?

Funny, I thought I was on ignore.

Zep had your game 'mechanics' sussed long before anyone else did. I can only assume that the lack of a manual still has sorta hit these issues home a little.

Man, you 183 guys are sure a little thin on logic. Two words and you can ID the man. You should lease that skill to the FBI!

You are an assclown, your code, your ineptitude, and your comments over that past 20 or so years say all anyone needs to know. Like I said fatty, I am not Phil whoever the fuck you think I am. I am a guy who was an original beta tester in the 90s. I am the guy who told you then that your UI was shit. It was shit then, it is shit now, and nothing is ever going to change, because a) you won't listen and b) you aren't capable of fixing it.

Honestly Cleve, if you spent even half the time working on your game that you did embarrassing yourself, you might be able to pull out something special. Now, just read the reviews, read gog, read anywhere, overwhelming fail, and could have been. There is only one person to blame here old bean. It isn't too late, instead of shooting your mouth off, why not let your actions speak instead. Fix the fucking game, and stop with the shitposting. Noone actually cares apart from the sycophants and becleavers. Everyone is laughing at you, don't you get that yet? A fallout shelter, in fucking Australia. FFS!

I guess the fact that you chose Vic as your home base tells us all we need to know :P

Cleve's butthurt because DECLINE has more downloads than copies of Grimoire sold...How that happens..I do not know...

:)

Zep--

Yeah, that 360,000 sales estimate is looking less likely every day :P
How many dls of DECLINE? I am curious. Don't let the assclown know, he will put double-DRM in place!

What a plonker Cleve is, but, it isn't as if this comes as a surprise.

I never wanted to go down the ad hominem path with him, but he went a little too far with his mouth. With him, it is kinda like shooting fish in a barrel, but you know that pic of him with the fanny pack? It must be the genes, but his face is an exception to the thatcher illusion. Weird. I'd do the mock up myself to show it, but I have more important things to do. Blakemore, the world's only example of the non-thatcher effect.

Google it fatty, you won't know that it is until you do. Did you learn about Dunning-Kruger last time? I heard they were going to rename it Dunning-Blakemore :)

Anyway, time to read the Grimoire manual and reroll... oh wait.

Sorry to have to ask, but how do I get it onto my desktop?

After clicking the link, I tried the "Open with Zip extractor", which doesn't work (it seems to think I want to decompress it on the Google drive and it eventually fails), and I tried right-clicking the .exe and doing a "Save as", but it saves it as a .html and cannot open.

Thanks.

It extracts and installs the trojan, then it fails to extract the char editor because Zep set a flag wrong. A classic amateur malware mistake.

You should disconnect your computer from the internet and do a complete virus scan on your computer immediately.

It's okay everyone got some malware on their computers, little more doesn't make any difference! All those porn sites and torrents and not to even talk about Windows 10 itself... Not me though, I'm pure.

The pure are the ones that don't know their computer is part of some huge, zombie PC network.

Which is a shame, because they are the ones to talk to when you also got a ransom-ware attack.

That's probably the only way to get rid of ransom-ware: have the zombie PC maffia kill enough of the makers.
