Gothic combat systems are entirely functional and competent, but somewhat non-intuitive, especially for a modern audience. Add to that, that Piranha games are always at their best when you cheese them to some extent, and the average person that isn't already familiar with them/committed to getting into them, will feel slightly frustrated.
I see that you have similar taste .Many Youtube critics snatch the low-hanging fruit of terrible games for entertainment, and while there's nothing necessarily wrong with that, I much prefer the review/retrospective channels that manage to be both enthusiastic and entertaining (Ross's Game Dungeon, LGR, etc). In his own distinct way Sseth is very positive about the games he shows, celebrating greatness instead of denouncing mediocrity. We could all use a little more of that in our lives.
