There's no way on God's green earth I would ever play a modern "open-world rpg" published by warner bros but that hufflepuff common room looks comfy as hell ngl

I was honestly vibing to it recalling the much cherished childhood experiences with the PC versions of Philosopher's Stone and Chamber of Secrets until I saw it was choke-full of niggers, the spell faded instantly. It's extremely off-putting, way to self-sabotage the game.

Taking into account how this franchise that was arguably the definitive childhood franchise for all the mentally ill millennials who would grow up to become SJW cancer, it’s funny how Slytherin, the “evil” house populated by white supremacists, seems to be the most popular one in the franchise.
Because they identify with the "outcasts" probably.

Wanna bet which side is more popular in Star Wars? The Light Side or the Dark Side? The Republic or the Empire? Same goes for pretty much everything else.

Here is a hot take. Jedi are a crazy cult which abduct and brainwash children, Slytherin are right in wanting to maintain the mortal and magical realms separated considering how much people persecuted witches in the past.

I point out that the media promoting Revenge of the Sith actually used this as a plot point. Originally intended for what was intended (per an old planning document released as a bonus when it was rediscovered) to satirize the public briefly becoming obsessed with some random minor news stories as a fad, it actually holds up as a solid bit of world building. The source is still worth reading, especially if you know the EU enough to notice the many small nods made.

I am actually into anything that breaks down the black-and-white surface of Star Wars, so I am not at all against something like this as a twist to the regular formula. Besides, it doesn't change the fact that "evil" factions are very popular in games by default. Save for anti-heroes and other shady individuals who are allowed to work for a "good" faction for "the greater good" or some such excuse.

Slytherin are right in wanting to maintain the mortal and magical realms separated considering how much people persecuted witches in the past.
Except that's not really what they want? Look at who their Big Boss ends up being. The problem with Slytherin is that they lack people who could present their goals in reasonable light and the whole faction turns into a gathering of supremacists/elitists/sadists/crazies who aren't exactly the most likeable sort.

Slytherin wants to stop miscegenation with muggles, as the more the blood is diluted, the weaker their magical powers become. This issue was never actually resolved, IIRC – the protags just don't care about it (funnily enough, Harry himself is a pureblood). Hence, eventually, the magical world will be filled with "wizards" that bungle even the simplest of spells, and a couple of extremely powerful, yet inbred families that obsess over keeping their blood pure.

Harry was quite hypocrital that he always cared about justice and the laws, yet he kept breaking rules constantly and was shamelessly favored by most of the teacher group except for Snape. I believe the non-Gryffindor houses were barely touched, nevermind the other magical schools. The world-building was okay but could have been better.

Yeah, and the zoomer haircut does not help either.

The nigger doing the gameplay is pretty annoying.

You must understand. A traditional college separated from normal society in 1890 has the same moral of modern day Commiefornia. Just like 1000+ yo ancient vampires. If you disagree, you are a fascist, taxist, racist, anythingist!!!

And would be funny if "witches" get pregnant by a transgender lesbian woman.

Harry Potter sucks.
Aye, he's a dull wimp but Hogwarts used to be really cool, a place of wonder with colorful secret items in secret rooms with gorgeous gothic architecture beyond ornamented deceptive looking glasses at the end of secret corridors with beautiful lights behind secret walls garnished by sinister faces; as magical as a castle can get —that is, before it was taken over by niggers and streetshitters.

Skimmed the Wikipedia page for this game and...
Following the release of the first gameplay trailer in March 2022, the game received criticism for basing it in the Goblin Rebellion era of the Wizarding World history with the game's story-line focusing on the player suppressing a goblin rebellion. The Wizarding World lore surrounding goblins has often been accused of being based on known antisemitic tropes.[25][26] The criticism spurred from the beliefs that the game's core message was that the minority goblin group should be considered the enemy for rebelling against their oppressor and fighting for freedom and equal rights.

Talk about special snowflakes being easily triggered by absolute nonsense.

PC RPG Website of the Year, 2015 Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Divinity: Original Sin 2 A Beautifully Desolate Campaign Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. Pathfinder: Wrath
The game will be like asscreed or rings of power - beautiful environments but nothing interesting happens there.

Dat Unreal 5 engine though, even on a console it looks very promising :bounce:

When it was said they have special guests here I naively thought that Rowling was gonna appear.

They missed the opportunity to bring a real fangirl of Rowling to this "showcase" of the game. You know, one of the few people who have not turned back on her despite she being the creator of the series and that have actual interest on it. The environments look quite impressive, but I notice a pattern here with other woke games (Deadfire, Ubisoft games) where the drawing of the environments is quite striking. Almost as if it wants to distract you from how uncomfortable is to look at the characters in the game and their clear woke tendency. They don't look at all similar to how they were portrayed in the movies or in the books.

Sad, it had potential.
