I can't recall him ever partaking in discussing actual gameplay or story or mechanics in a game. He seems happy to use threads as his soap box for whatever random Tweet or """news""" he wants to post but he's seemingly above participating in the community itself.
Hence why I keep saying he doesn't play games.

I understand this, but it’s a completely useless attempt because outside of this forum, EVERYONE knows that you can come here and only deal with shouting absurd, senseless slogans and pushing Goebbels-style propaganda. EVERYONE knows this. I've known RPGCodex for years, even though I’ve only been a member for a year, and everywhere it has always been said, repeated, and rehashed that this forum is just "a den of alt-right who want to exterminate Jews and blacks. Then, from time to time, someone also knows a lot about RPGs."
And this is due to the forum's extremely permissive politics. So, while I appreciate that the KCD2 thread was split because it was becoming unreadable, the fact remains that even the other half "legible" is still honey for any primatist, wannabe-Goebbels, and so on.

Then, just to be clear, it’s not that I’m naïve and don’t realize that the Forum IS this: a den of alt-right, even among the staff, some more, some less, some maybe. But splitting the forum isn’t going to attract new users interested in talking about RPGs.
I did it, I joined the forum because I knew I had the patience to filter massively and only take the 1% of those messages that are truly useful and from "RPG enthusiasts" compared to the 99% from Nazis who talk politics. But a thousand other users don’t do it and wouldn’t do it.

People come here knowing they can do "propaganda," not talk about games. And it’s your rules that allow this, not the logistics of thread arrangement.

He used to post a lot of "intellectual gamer" takes from, often very cringe, blogs/channels he was consuming and did not exactly shy away from trying to sell them as his own original thoughts. But that was veeery long time ago.

Him writing from a perspective of someone who cares about playing and discussing computer games now is absolutely hilarious tho and p much the reason he'll get a smirk or an eye roll even from most people who agree with the gist of what he's arguing.

Basically seems to just be way too stereotypically... uh, you know who... for his own good.

I don't see the issue separating discussion into two threads if it becomes big enough. You're not getting banned, or getting your posts deleted, or 1984'd. It's just a separate thread so the main one keeps itself (relatively) gaming related.

Hardly an abuse of mod power, but he cut off the thread way too early. It is definitely annoying to see good gaming threads polluted by politics, but in the case of Kingdom Come 2, there is absolutely nothing to discuss except the controversies. The thread should have been split only after the game’s launch to allow for separate discussions about gameplay, if there is still gameplay worth discussing, which I am starting to doubt, and the controversies, for which Wokehorse studios legitimately deserves some retaliation.
