The Specialist had cool roll and slides for shooting, it was a pvp the matrix mod for HL1. You had too choose between rolling or sliding, it does work really well for shooters. Should have been used more.

In an era when most gamers have a spherical body shape, it was inevitable that rolling would become a dominant mechanic.
