Sawyer has the tastes of a pregnant woman.

(this is a video of him making and eating a chunky peanut butter and sweet pickle sandwich)

What kind of savage puts peanut butter on both slices of the sandwich?
The sort of person who puts things in between the peanut butter in a sandwich. For example, sliced bananas and honey.

Fuck man, sometimes I use cashew butter.

Sawyer went from thin guy to fat guy to thin guy to weightlifter.

Avellone followed a similar path, from fat guy to weightlifter to bloated former weightlifter.

Sawyer played a bit of the Icewind Dale 2 EE today for a charity stream. He kept asking out loud who designed the opening area, his memory having gone so bad that he doesn't remember it was Christopher Frederic Avellone.

Other things of note: he said one of the compromises of PoE included consumable design (he would have preferred something Witcher 3-style but other people at the studio balked), and he never liked spells-per-day and was glad to be rid of it in Deadfire. He was also incensed when PoE backers said they didn't care about having the Defend command from the IE games, a feature that he likes. He played much better than Brennecke did way back when (of course).

What's the Defend command ?
It's the shield. You click it and then drag the mouse so it makes a circle, and then the character will attack any enemy that enters that area.
