This looks like a pretty neat idea.

The gameplay concept is really cool, 2D exploration style game with creature catching/collection that adds to your party with unique skill trees and turn based battles.

I wonder when final release will be? I'll totally play this. Years ago I remember seeing this campaign.
The closest I've seen to this is Monster Tale on DS. As a concept, it certainly has a lot of potential. But developing such a thing sounds like a nightmare. Not only the pseudo-freedom of a metroidvania map, but also the freedom of customizing your team of monsters. I'm imagining using unique monster abilities to progress in more than one way.
From some gameplay videos I saw of the initial gameplay demo a while ago, the metroidvania aspect of it (2D platforming/exploration) seems underdeveloped and extremely barebones, with very little in the environment and just a treasure chest put here and there otherwise being long corridors between different monster fights and destinations. Where all of the development however does seem to be going into is the turn based combat and monster stats/collection aspect. Every monster has unique skill trees and plays differently, and aside from possible balance concerns the combat contains a fair amount of depth.

Get Blocked by Kamiya

Not everyone has had the privilege of being blocked on Twitter by the illustrious Hideki Kamiya, but that’s all about to change. At a very special Kickstarter tier, Kamiya himself will tweet directed to you, and then will block you forever!

Time to extend the scope of the game, add a ton of physical rewards they don't know how to manufacture, and increase the development time by 12 years.

For all you cheap ass tabletop nerds:

200 miniatures for $65 right now including quite a few larger ones. Probably going to be around 220-240 by the end unless they start reigning in the stretch goals (already changed them from 10K to 15K increments). I know nothing about miniatures except they seem expensive unless you invest in a 3D printer so this seem OK. Anyway about to start doing D&D with my 8 year so I though I'd give these a go.

A roguelite take on CDDA.
15 USD for the cheapest key tier. It's already met its funding goal.

All of our team members were Korean modders of Cataclysm DDA and Unreal World.

Could be interesting.

The main character of the game doesn't have to be human. In fact, ND plans to be designed to give you the ability to play as other living creatures like horses, cows, and mice.

Maybe not...
