In that statement, both Vavra and Klima clearly state that they haven't found any evidence of any black people living in Bohemia at that time. So to include them is a political decision. They decided they wanted a token black character in their game. Which might be acceptable (because no one can prove there weren't any yada yada), if they didn't spend 10 years defending the exact opposite decision in the first game.

I'm sure we're about to discover that even the first Kingdom Come was actually a flaming pile of woke garbage, and that none of you ever played it or used it as a holy relic in your battles.

If you're interested, I've decided to help you out and went back to replay KCD I. And guess what? I found a cutscene there too, with very clear subliminal messages pushing 'wokeness.'

If you slow the scene down enough, you can clearly see a guy shouting 'WOKE.'
