I'm struggling in the beginning still. I'm doing the quests to get to the Wedding but I'm constantly out of money and when I try to steal to get some money I get caught all the time. How do I steal and not get caught? I just want to steal food and random shit for a bit of money. My regular video game logic is not working here. I read online that the NPC's can't see you in the area or they will just automatically assume it was you who took the items? Is that real? Any tips?
Stealing sucks. If anyone spots you at any time within like 12 hours of committing a crime, you get blamed for it. If you want to steal shit, start at night outside of town, and knock out every guard you see without being spotted. Then make sure everything you steal gets fenced ASAP. If you get spotted with local stolen items, no matter how much time has passed, you'll be pinched.

If you want some easy money in the beginning--
-Go along the south side of the pond to the west. In the bathing spot there should be a sack with some Groschen in it. There's also a treasure map to a pot along the south bank between the herb lady and Trosky with some more money. This requires no skill/combat to get

-Outside of Trosky to the north is a tree with a bench and a book. Read the book and then sell it to the scribe for some cash. Also throw rocks at every bird's nest you see, some of them have valuable jewelry in them.

-Along the north side of the pond where you were ambushed at the beginning there are some bandits now. They should be pretty easy, but if you're having trouble try stealth KOs. Loot their chest (look for keys on their bodies) and they should have two horses, take the one that is more valuable to the nomad camp and they will buy it for 300-400 groschen. Sell all the extra armor for money too.

I found stealing isn't worth the hassle personally, after clearing 3-4 bandit camps I was swimming in loot.

Circled spots are free money, arrow is the bandits

All crime is village-specific, you can rob one village blind and then just not go back there. Or wait a few days for the "stolen" tag to dissipate from your loot. Or only steal groschen, since it can't be flagged as stolen. To be honest I'm struggling to come up with better advice since I had like 30k by the time of the semine wedding and cannot fathom anyone struggling to make money in this game.

Actually I blame the US movie maker they added into the game development for second game. He brought shitty story, Jew love, homosexuality as an option, Roma population, and a person who is black even when he is based on Arab.

Dumb people who allowed US/UK citizens to influence game are eating consequences.
is there any proof he influenced the game's writing to such a degree or is this all just conjecture

The Cuman quest is actually great.

-Settle things down at the tavern, avoid unnecessary bloodshed, tell townspeople not to be rash
-Go drinking with the Cumans, get to know them, learn about their past
-They are regular guys, they've been through struggles and hardship, they have hopes and dreams.
-We're not so different
-Learn some language, have some fun, hook up your new bro with a chick, go skinny dipping.
-Everyone passes out, sleep like a log
-Wake up before everyone else, murder them all in their sleep.

Only God forgives.

this right here is the true based gameplay. damn

This doesn't work. I stole the thief outfit from the bathhouse, waited a week, the tag was gone, but when I went back there they demanded I hand it all over.

Owners will always recognize their stolen property, it's only other merchants who are affected by the stolen tag. Granted if you sell off your stolen items it won't matter, but watch out if you try to hang onto any of it for personal use.

I don't think he's responsible for the DEI agenda, the film mentioned earlier didn't have any of this stuff, it was just a bad film with bad costumes, and neither did the first KC:D.

I can already imagine the first mods coming from places like basedmods and loverslab. Here's hoping.

Yeah right... I am 100% sure it will be very similar modding to cyberpunk. We will see some significant gameplay and interface improvements but not narration, plot or dialogue changes. So yeah musa, friendly cumans and strong boss babes are not going anywhere.

P. much everything is improved, from combat to crime system to alchemy to progression and even quests and writing which was already grate in the first game.
Why do you feel the need to lie?
Have you played the game?
Answer the question.
So you haven't. But you could swear it's the same, only worse.

I rest my case.
I really wonder if anyone beside someone with too much free time and few select "fans of the first KCD" would have the autism+free time to play through this latest pseudo-historical mess and review it top to bottom. And still call it an rpg.

Conjecture from people who can't seem to grasp KCD2 was made, in its entirety, under Embracer.
You almost had it.

The biggest stock owners of Embracer are a Swedish guy who never ever tried to tell me what to do and by government of Saudi Arabia. But keep dreaming about Black Rock.

Vavra screeching because he wants the world to know that he answers to Black Cock, not Black Rock.

Noted, Daniel.

“In the hands of a skillful indoctrinator, the average student not only thinks what the indoctrinator wants him to think . . . but is altogether positive that he has arrived at his position by independent intellectual exertion. This man is outraged by the suggestion that he is the flesh-and-blood tribute to the success of his indoctrinators.”

And you'd believe anything Vavra says on the subject why exactly? Especially when we have the pre-existing evidence of what happened to Volition?
Because he's the director and a loudmouth. So many people out there begging him to give them some indication he was being coerced into writing the game this way, and he was having none of it.

I've seen nothing that suggests Volition wasn't 100% on board with how the Saints Row reboot turned out.

barely picked handful of locks before trosky castle, by the time I'm out I'll be a master thief

very thievery incentivizing design; steal blacksmith's inventory and stash it next door in your room lol, half the rest of the game I'll be stash<->merchant running...

easily identifies you as an infiltrator
wow, he's so smart! the smartest man in the entire game!

He also loves to talk about how great his home is
This reminds me something or rather some people.

There is actually some reason as to why he's a traveler, but he refuses to talk about it at this point in the plot.
Yes, this definitely reminds me of the 'engineers', 'doctors' and 'scientists' from the middle east! they as exactly like that.

This. 100% this. Embracer is to blame.

Biggest stock owner =/= the owner. People who also own enough stock of a company have a say how their company is to run. The more this stuff open his mouth, the less inteligent he appears

Yeah, but Vávra is the kind of guy that would rather be known as a literal cocksucker than admit anyone has ever forced him to do anything. His facebook is plastered top to bottom with his anti-rapefugee, anti-DEI, free speech bloviating, yet he put in a Mary Sue negro who happens to also be a doctor? Really? It just doesn't add up, neither in terms of his beliefs, nor in terms of his competence (I mean come the fuck on, Mary Sues are downright amateur hour).

Wouldn't it be funny if Vavra's faggotry were the reason the Saudis cancelled the Embracer deal?

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is.

It's tricky to steal during the day. Wait for the night and clean house, it's waaay easier. Plus people only realize shit's missing in the morning, by that time you'll be long gone. Just a warning, if you overdo it you'll still be a wanted man, even if nobody saw you.

Oh and you definitely need lockpicks and solid Thievery to steal anything worth shit.

In general my No. 1 advice is this - don't try gallivanting across the open world right from the get go, stick to the main quest for a while. Ideally when the game spits you out in Troskowitz go immediately to work at the mill, they'll teach you a lot of stuff, give you free food and bed and you'd be able to earn good money. Then go get your horse to Semin and your dog. Blam, life is 200% easier.
