Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is. Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
There are a lot of party compositions that work. I didn't beat the game on the ball crushing difficulty, but this is the classes in my main party: Wizard, Psionicist, Sorcerer, Monk, Gladiator, Cleric

Lots of AoE spells, lots of summons, and lots of status effects on enemies.

Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Grab the Codex by the pussy RPG Wokedex Strap Yourselves In Codex Year of the Donut Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. Pathfinder: Wrath I helped put crap in Monomyth
Good party setup? From those who played already.

My most recent run, I completed Augury of Chaos with Gladiator, Fighter, Death Knight, Cleric, Psionist and Wizard.

Seemed to generally work OK.

HOLY SHIT just noticed on steam page that KOTC2 now have proper char models. Not top down tokens.
I can't say it looks better than the tokens. The new look strongly reminds me of the crappy rpgs that guy was making, who was constantly cloning the same unfinished game and sold it with different names. I can't recall the name of the "company", but they all had that crappy look and very similar UI. Did Pierre outsource it from that guy? Are these free textures everyone can get? I wish someone found the old threads about this guy, they were p. amusing.

KoTC1's graphics were vastly superior.
Ah yes. That dude. Dude was using rpgmaker sprites or something anyway. Bill something or the other. Infinitron would definitely remember this dude.
To be honest new graphics really reminds me of Ellis Studios...

KOTC2 has a sort of Mechajammer disease where the graphics change with the weather but the underlying game is actually good

Pathfinder: Wrath
Kinda unfortunate that there is no regular increase-able non-combat skills in KotC 2. From the website it is all weirdly tied to character and attributes instead without numerical value (e.g. Diplomacy is tied with having 20 CHA or having certain race/class). Kinda limit the way to design non-combat encounter from what I see.

It feels limited on paper but in practice I found the non-combat interactions to be pretty robust and varied, especially since so much depends not just on skills/stats but also character class, race, etc. As with all things, it ultimately boils down to implementation.

Not really. The isometric view was planned from the get-go as Pierre gathered the funds to buy the assets, the only two looks have been tokens and sprites ever since.

There is a lot of clashes and miss-matched styles, but that's mainly because he combined assets from different artists, rather than revamping the entire look over again like MJ.

To me, as long as one takes the time to replace them with better-looking ones, tokens offer the best experience.

Hopefully, if he goes through with getting a graphic designer, we'll get a last iteration with better interfaces.

10 wis, i guess. so he will just gut some people for fun and giggles and then throw their corpses into nearest swamp.

i'm talking about gameplay limitations. druid has potions, poisons, herbs, geology, monster knowledge and all that shit alchemist needs in one package. he doesn't need to walk around and talk about balance.
