And yet those buffoons over at TG are stilling saying that the leaker should be killed. I guess we should all thank Darth Windu for his help with that. :)

You better watch your back, JL. They seem to have a lust for your blood as well, and will start a man hunt for you. Remember, Pastrami is a man of action. :)

I'm not worried about Pastrami. He actually sent me a couple of PMs here trying to smooth things over. I won't post them, but needless to say, his vitriol is nothing more than a matter of public presentation. I would bet that he (and no he never said this) and other staunch Team Gizka defenders have not been able to resist the urge to download the leaked mod and play it. And now given how this has obviously gotten the team off their butts, what's to bitch about now?

Of course I saw today that Pastrami made a post in which he seemed to imply that bugs within TSLRP could result in Blue Screens of Death on PCs. That of course is complete garbage. But hey, whatever keeps the faith strong over there, right?

I completed KotOR2 with TSLRP. I've encountered only few somewhat annoying bugs and one gamebraking one that I was planning to bypass anyway.
Two bugs I fixed by simply reloading from earlier maps, another one by pressing '1' button.
The gamebraking one comes with an option where you *ZOMG FEATURE SPOILER* have the ability to tell Nihilus that you want to become his apprentice and kill Visas as a sacrifice to him (yep KotOR2 is that badass when it's full) - after I kill her nothing happens. Bridge remains locked and no scripts trigger. I tried to reload from earlier saves several times - and what's even better - gizka's bugtracker does not contain this one. Oh well I will keep the savegame in the case of Gizka stopping to be butthurt faggots they are. The bug is bypassed by the option I've chosen initially - break Nihilus together with Visas.

As for the cut content itself - well by the end of the game everything clicked into place almost perfectly (save for one minor thing). There were much more storyline cutscenes and surprises and the full ending itself is something Planescape Torment would show you but that needs a whole new topic for discussion. Perhaps for another time.

All I can say - KotOR2 has even better storyline now than the one it had at the day of release. Avellone is teh master.

P.S.
[R] Spar Practice - After Visas joins the party (and has a lightsaber) the player would be able to spar with her under Kreias supervision.

this however didn't work

I'll wait for the final version before I give KOTOR2 another playthrough. Don't want to hassle with a buggy beta.

Yeah, you'd think they'd release the stuff when it's ready but no. Serious lack of professionalism.

I played through it I didn't encounter anything serious. No reason to wait another year.

Problems with the Nihilus encounter are known and will be fixed... eventually.

Edit: And you need three lightsabers to spar. One for Visas and two for you. It's just the way the designer wrote the dialogue. Cheat some sabers in and go talk to Kreia 'bout it.

Too bad "eventually" could be any time between a few weeks from now and Christmas...of next year. This is TG afterall.

I heard your character was originally supposed to learn new forms this way. Is that how you get them with TSLRP?

Yeah this new content rocks. I went through it on my play through of TSLRP and fighting Visas under Kreia's direction added something very relevant to the game. As you progress further, Kreia restricts your weapons further and further until you are left fighting Visa's barehanded while she wields a light saber. Very cool stuff. It is all intended to teach the most important of Kreia's lessons of course, that you can live without the force and hence without it's control. For using the force at anytime during these spar sessions causes them to stop, because Kreia begins questioning you on why you chose to do that.

Tried. It worked. Adds even more flavour to the game.

However what I still don't get - is that in the end...
G0-T0 takes the control over HK-47 in order to destroy the Remote and intercept Exile's signal and HK-47 proceeds to do it. And that plotline ends there. That kinda feels unfinished.
Also after the last battle Kreia says "the small one awaits for you outside to take you on the last journey" or something like that. Was she referring to T3-M4? Which leads to...
The other question - I remember when I gained the trust of T3-M4 fully and did a fully upgraded him I gained that meditation skill which lets me to fix him - and at some point in the game you have the ability to unlock some of his records by using it on him. When exactly to do it? I forgot it

OK after finishing KOTOR2 last week for the first time (and recommending it to whomever could be bothered to hear my opinion), I'm interested in this mod.

So someone please resume the last 36 pages for me and tell me where I can find this thing?

It isn't out yet. Just the leaked beta.
Droid Factory is locked and a script with Nihilus I've mentioned is broken. So if you are ok with that - and also ok with reloading if you will encounter a bug like not working cutscene (I had only 2 of those during all ~40 hrs of gameplay) - then TPB is your friend. Do a search with 'TSLRP'. There is also a chance that some minor quest may get broken (like the pazaak championship on Nar Shaddaa)
The mod is well worth it. If you really liked Avellone's story (and you liked it) - then you will be even more pleasantly surprised by all the restored content. Especially by the end.
If you remember you were chased by Genoharadan - that storyline comes to a conclusion.
The ending where you just get small moments of your companions on Malachor - is now full - and they play the big role in the type of ending sequence you will get (there are several ending sequences).
Also Bao-Dur now has more storyline dedicated to him. And it's good, especially in the end.
The fall of Atris is also opened more.
TSLRP also restores several consequences to your actions throughout the game and adds something that wasn't there.
Like f.e. if you remember on Nar Shaddaa Red Eclipse assaults your ship. With the restored content instead of killing everyone you can now just reach their leader and end it peacefully (or not).
And the character of Kreia opens even more.

If only KotOR2 was like that from the start. Avellone is a truly talented writer.

I did encounter two instances where after a cutscene everything goes black and you can't control your character. First one was the Kreia bug on Nar Shaddaa which jaylittle already mentioned, and the second one was during the defense of Khoonda on Dantooine. I opted to defend the front and got hit with the bug. Not sure if that one is random. Pazaak Championship on Nar Shaddaa worked for me but I tricked the other players instead of playing normally. Save often and in separate slots is important here.

Don't know why, but I felt the Genoharadan conclusion was a little out of place, as is the Sion v.s. Atton fight. Guess they had to stick Atton in a force cage again. Didn't see much change to the ending sequence though, only Atton and Visas appeared for me, and there was no resolution to the Remote/GoT0/HK-47 scene, as mentioned. I assume that's why I can't blow up Malachor V no matter what options I pick.

I suppose this is why the droid factory is important... so HK-47 doesn't become GoT0's bitch.

Also after the last battle Kreia says "the small one awaits for you outside to take you on the last journey" or something like that. Was she referring to T3-M4? Which leads to...

I didn't get that line from Kreia. Weird. It probably refers to T3 though. She always calls Atton the fool.

The records unlocking can be done after you notice that he's suffered a lot of damage, or fix him for the first time I think. Not sure when, but I was able to access the option early. There's a [computer] option that allows you to check his memory core. Success will dredge up the Bastila/Carth hologram. There's also another bit of info that you can get by asking him to display the Jedi Masters list again, if I remember correctly.

Please explain. I have not finished the game yet. The droid factory is pretty well done. "No BLock" at least. It came just after Exile-Atris duel. So far I seems to have cleared it. Now the game is again Exile's control on Telos. Hopefully I will finish this game within a day.

yes plz

Yeah, you can get into the droid factory. In order to do so (for me at least), when HK-47 encounters a group of HK-50s and the screen fades out, you should still have control of your game, despite the screen staying black. Now save your game and load it. You should be alone (no party members and no HK-50s) and in the same place where you encountered them.

You won't get the HK-50 torture scene, but it seems to activate whatever trigger is needed to open up the droid factory quest. As for the actual droid factory itself, it's alright. It lacks polish and is quite annoying as all the HKs you encounter there have a *ton* of HP, making battles against them last a good long while despite not actually being all that difficult. It also doesn't really add much to the end-game aside from HK-47 and whichever generation of HKs you pick coming to blast G0-T0 -- once that scene ends, thats it. Nothing more from HK-47 or the Remote.

The GenoHaradan bit does feel really out-of-place. Throughout replaying the game with TRP installed, I kept thinking that I must have missed some trigger as outside of a few off-hand comments, they're completely absent from the game. But then after The Ravager, they suddenly message you out of nowhere and you have to drop everything you're doing (which I thought really broke the flow of the game) and fight them.

Kaevee's voice actress isn't all that bad but it seems to have been recorded and edited with the cheapest equipment ever produced and done so by a retarded child. Outside of some bugs that I'm sure I created myself by having a few other mods installed, I didn't encounter many technical troubles with TSLRP. Although, did anyone else not see this scene:
[R] Handmaiden/Visas want to go - Handmaiden or Visas ask if she can go with the Exile wherever he is going. However, the PC tells them that they cannot.
