Ah. Did you have max influence with both of Visas and Handmaiden? I'm wondering if you needed to have high influence with one or the other rather than both to see it.

I had max influence only with Handmaiden
With Visas I had considerably less.
Guess you can't have all of them.

Fuck it then. I saw everything else the mod had to offer, maybe now I can put away the game for a good long while instead of replaying it every few months.

Same here. The F4 button resolved my black screen issue too. It required no reload for me. Finished the game now. The game is nearly restored in beta itself. I saw virtually all new content offered by TG team. I doubt the official TG version would be much different from this leaked beta. TSLRP does improve gameplay, no doubt about it. Modder team treat fans like garbage but their skill can't be denied. TSLRP lacks Ulic's paragus patch content to be more complete. TSLRP has been great experience. Now it will stop me checking out TG site and forum for latest update and probable info of their Duke Nukem Whenever style release date. Now i don't really care when/if the TG team releases their mod or not. Big thanks to guy who release this beta and telling us about the workaround of gliches and guys like jaylittle who reviewed it.

I'll wait for the final version before I give KOTOR2 another playthrough. Don't want to hassle with a buggy beta.

Yeah, you'd think they'd release the stuff when it's ready but no. Serious lack of professionalism.

You doof, they're playing leaked beta, not the final release!

A beta from a truly professional team wouldn't have any bugs, you retard. Team Gizka sucks and that's that.

If a fraction of the game stopping bugs I've heard about are real, and I have little reason to believe otherwise, Team Jizz-Kock might be the most amateur group of shit-licking plagiarists I've ever heard of.

Who the fuck releases such a buggy product? Have they no shame?

Team Jizz-Cock also refuses to acknowledge bugs and accept savegames that show them - even if those bugs aren't even on the mantis tracker, which means that the final version will have them - because they are too butthurt because of the leaked beta.

So true. TG team consists of close minded egomanical assholes. If people think that their final versions will be devoid of bugs they are kidding themselves. I know quiet a few bugs myself, but there is no point in trying to post on their forum. After a few years it will be enjoyable to see their hardcore fans lashing out to them. I liked the leaked beta , great experience. I certainly recomend it , the only other option is endless wait.

I wonder what the final version of a mod from a professional team would be like? Maybe it would automatically defrag your hard drive, search and remove any found malware and also instantly donate 20$ to your paypal account. If you don't have one, the money go to doctors without borders... fuck yeah !

Whatever, fuck you then.

Since everyone here wants to act like a bunch of little fags, I'm packing up and won't be posting here again. I believe Cartman once said: "Fuck you guys, I'm going home!"

See ya in Hell, everyone. Especially you gaylittle.

Methinks she doth protest too much.

Your username is pastrami with a quote about being sexy in your sig and you can't stop calling people fags. Do you drive a hummer and have a pitbull and scowl at everyone in the gym locker room to prove how manly you are?

I noticed that - especially as it's quite clear that he isn't just using the typcial netspeak of 'gay' as generic insult, he really is just saying 'umm...that guy has sex with men' repeatedly as an attempted insult in itself. Add it altogether and that's one repressed gay dude trying to flame us...

I thought you were being paranoid or joking at first, but I think you are right. I've never even talked to someone so homophobic. It's more funny than anything else, though sad for him.

Yeah thats the best part. Somebody wrote a decompiler that you could run against compiled KOTOR/KOTOR2 scripts and thats what caused the mod communities for these games to come into existence. So in essence Team Gizka by attempting to mod decompiled code, has already violated the original copyright associated with the game by doing so to begin with.

It's not like they reverse engineered it, or downloaded a publicly available source archive. They decompiled somebody's commercial code, modified it and then starting passing it off as their own work.

So really this is a case of: Pot. Kettle. Black.

"Hey guys, I've found some minor bugs. Can I post them to help team Gizka?

Why do you keep bitching about the beta since you know you stole it? Dirty thief, die in a fire!"

To quote Wildstorm (the guy who locked the thread)

Leave the matter be, folks. It was leaked, yeah. We all know that. It wasn't very nice of whoever did it but they did it. No need for massive effigy burnings and tarring and feathering for anyone who did download the leak. Since I hate to break it to you but I doubt that most, if not all, the testers would have downloaded it too if it weren't for the fact that they had the file in the first place. I strongly suggest that leak posts be locked with a simple message - not this "OMG! You downloaded the leak, THIEF!" kind of posts. We don't need that kind of garbage. Which means, all users (and testers) should just ignore the matter - minus the guy who locks the thread. Follow TGs lead and move on.

Yeah, totally unreasonable.

I say again, anyone comparing one of the greatest geniuses ever, with a team that is still trying to mod a 4-year old game, is a fucking retard.

I used that analogy to make fun of those guys, and now he's actually using it for real?

For those who have played the leaked beta, anyone get stuck after Handmaiden fights her sisters? I get the cut scene with Kreia and Atris going back and forth (after the light side meeting with the Jedi masters), and at one point it pauses and the PC I guess has to make a dialog choice. I say "I guess" because I don't see any choices, I just figured out that hitting "1" or "2" on the keyboard causes the scene to continue with Atris talking about the Sith bombardment of Telos and Kreia commenting about falling to the dark side.

After that the game switches to Handmaiden walking in and being confronted by her sisters, and then Atris from the meditation chamber commenting on seeing what Handmaiden has learned from the exile. The Handmaiden fight then takes place, but after killing the sisters nothing happens. I've reloaded several times, and one of two things happens - either at the start of the fight the doors to Atris' meditation chamber and back to the rest of the academy close, leaving Handmaiden trapped in the room after the fight with nowhere to go and nothing to do. Or, the doors don't close at the start of the fight and after the fight is over Handmaiden can go back through the academy to the Ebon Hawk but can't actually board it, or Handmaiden can go up into the meditation chamber but Atris isn't there and the door closes behind her and can't be reopened (trapping her in the room).

I assume that even with TSLRP Atris is supposed to confront Handmaiden after the fight with the sisters and then the PC comes in and fights Atris, but nothing is triggering after the fight.
