TSLRP is never ever going to be released. The one person that seemed to have been active on the actual programming hasn't been heard from in months. The rest of the mod team has allready acknowledged that without him they can do little but betatest their latest release. In other words, the buglist grows but noone is going to fix any of them. Thankfully they really don't need anyone's help, thank you very much.

Best part is that the forum is still filled with the same tools that have been 'eagerly awaiting' the game for the past 4 years and whom still lynch anyone who even dares to suggest that the mod might be in trouble. TSLRP should be studied mandatory by anyone ever considering to make a mod or do any other computer related project. It really manages to breathe new life in the old "if you can't be a great example, strife to be a horrible warning" saying.

I offered to help fix any engine bugs (there is some memory leak crash) but was told that they wouldn't use them due to EULA stating exe can't be modded. I wasn't even asking for their precious just offering to help and was rebuffed. I can see if the exe patches included some kind of cd check circumvention but for fixing bugs? I can understand the whole idea of wanting to get everything perfect but that's why you do releases in stages like most sane developers do.

Bill Gates (1990): We can't release windows until all the bugs are fixed!
Bill Gates (2009): We can't release windows until all the bugs are fixed!

Modifying any part of the game is against the EULA anyway, unless you have express written concent from LucasArts. I doubt their project does.

Darth Windu (dumbass Team Gizka apologist and later team member) got an SA account and maybe confused it for a Codex account?

Well, to be fair, the Jews are pretty bad. They don't deserve to die, but they certainly don't deserve their own country, or even the vast amount of influence they currently exercise in ours.

Yep, these are the kind of people working on TSLRP.

I have an SA account. It's really cool. Why isn't the Codex more like SA? It should be more like SA. That would be really cool. The Codex should be cool like SA. You guys agree with me, right? You want to be cool, right? SA is so awesome.

A horse is a horse, of course of course,
and no one can talk to a horse of course,
unless this horse is the famous Andyman Messiah.

It was rather memorable though. Especially when they locked registration after two of us paid a visit in Codexian respect.

I remember getting perma-banned from their site after I posted goatse, tubgirl, and Star Wars-themed hentai on their forums. They locked registration afterwards. Good times.

Best part though was that Pastrami fucker letting a TG moderator threaten to ban him for something he did on an entirely different forum.

Check out the thread on there called Dashus' Mysterious Message.

It fucking amazes me to see how damned desperate these people are for some cut content. Fair enough if you're a huge fan of a game, but goddammit this is going too far.

Leave them alone for a while Rorschach.

Did a playthrough with the leaked content a few days ago. Wasn't too bad. It wasn't done really.

God what a bunch of fags. In about two weeks when there is no release, I anticipate massive amounts of chaos will ensue over there. It ought to be quite fun. Too bad my IP was permabanned. Though CGI Proxies take care of that problem nicely :)

Naah there won't be anything.
They will just go "oh well! We need still respect them for their work! They have lots of other things to do after all"

They are going to release something in two weeks. From what I "hear" it will be something in between the leaked beta and the "final" that they would have liked to release in a perfect fantasy world that we don't live in.

So it will be fully playable, mostly fixed but not all fixed. Then they will "see" if they want to work out any remaining bugs, but may instead just release the whole thing and let anybody toy with it. If they decide to open source their work they will also shut down their forums.

The person I heard this from seems to think he is in the know so we shall see. I hope they do release. Its about fucking time.
