Id like to press for the option to escort the sword by Xu Jing

The sword might carry some qi or other shit so if shun grabs the hilt=dead shun.

I don't quite follow, The Brazilian Slaughter. The zhang clan can steal the sword in A, so that's a minus, but if Wuxing loses the sword in B, it is a stain on his reputation, so that's a plus? It can't be both.

    Yes, it can.

If Wuxing loses the sword, there are two hypothesis
    1. Wuxing was too incompetent to do a job as simple as "ESCORT SWORD TO EMPEROR, GIVE SWORD, BOW". Nobody is ever going to take him seriously again, he is mocked openly, Emperor is mightly pissed. He either dies, kills himself or loses all face, nobody outside of Huashan will obey a word of his.
    2. Wuxing was a accomplice. He gets tortured, interrogated and possibly executed unless proven otherwise. His entire family may get executed, up to and including Bai Jiutian.

Of course, there's the possibility Wuxing turns on the empire and sides with a zhang clan rebellion rather than allow himself and his family to be executed. This might cause a civil war where Huashan, Taishan and Kunlun (beggars are still being decided) turns against Empire-loyalist Shaolin, Wudang and Emei. But if they do this, thanks to the Fire Cult we could win the war.

If ALL of us lose the sword we all look like 'tards, including Jing and the rest of the bros.

Ah. Makes sense, I suppose, though he does not seem to be terribly afraid of losing the sword, and an open rebellion does not look plausible to me.

I still think they have something else planned.

Well, those few people that he can plausibly lose the sword to are also the ones that make others go, "Oh, if it was him then it can't be helped." He'd look incompetent, perhaps get rebuked, but under those circumstances it would be unreasonable to punish him in the same way as if he'd lost the sword to some bandit scum.

    Hmmm.

Tulu Huodu did have some business attend in the city, yes?
I wonder, if it's related to the boss sword.

I hope that Zhang Jue doesn't have any other plan than fighting against sword Saint.
Codex paranoid rule requires me to assume that two of them or either of them have somekind of plan for the big sword.

I am kind of starting to warm up to flopping to B
I must ponder this before commiting to anything.

Voting B, since A seems like a bad idea to me given the company we keep and the amount of Nie's lackeys that will surround us.

So the great plan is to 'lose' the sword and put the blame on someone else?
Zhang Jue doesn't seem likely, even if that will make us traitors as well being his apprentice.
The Sword Saint seems unlikely as well.
Tulu Huodu would mean the extermination of the Wu-Du cult, Chi Qilin included and us as well for our ties with them, this seems more probable, Madame Nie's revenge?

It also occurred to me that Madame Nie having been the waifu of the Wu-Du cult leader knows their poisons, this will explain all the poisoning going around and also why such poison can be hard to detect even for the Wu-Du cult, knowing their secrets she knows how to modify poisons in a way hard to detect even for them.
Considering that someone tried to put the blame on the Wu-Du cult for the poisoning of the empreor as well I wonder if this is all part of the same scheme, in this case Madame Nied seems hell bent to destroy the Wu-Du cult and overthrow the emperor or maybe support a different prince than Shun.
I am guessing then that they want the Wu-Du cult destroyed and Shun dead.
Any idea in how to prevent that?

    Flopping to B

It's risky, but we could potentially get good information.
Bai Jiutian isn't likely to alert everyone on sight on us, but there is a chance that she will betray of her own status is
    compromised.

Let the scared old man have his way in public. We look good doing it, and then we can try to mess with him from the shadows.

    Voting A.

It'll be hard for anything funny to happen to the sword this way and if a fight does break out, we'll be there for it.

Also, treave, can we just glance around and see if Shun indicates anything to Jing? Shun and Jing have a private way of signaling things.

I'm definitely voting A here, it's too funny a situation to pass up and we might get to the fighting that I'd hoped this tournament would break down to.

At the moment, Shun isn't indicating any directions to you. He to seems to be just watching things play out.
