What appears below is a reproduction of a letter on tapestry which was a part of events that eventually culminated in the self-exile of Sir Paula Unmasked VII.

The identity of the recipient of the letter is yet unknown, though she has been depicted as a mannish redhead by Sir Paula in the letter. An intriguing discovery from the fragments is that self-exile was common in Codexia, and indeed, was often the most likely result of major events in the kingdom.

My master sent me here to obtain the invite, but here I am losing myself in pleasure with a beautiful woman without a care for the mission he gave me.”

The woman rolls her eyes, sitting up in the bed without any care for modesty. You trace a finger over her flushed cheeks before pulling away guiltily. “No, I can’t, Madam Jiang.”

“Of course you can. If it’s the invite you’re worried about, I’ll just pass it to you afterwards so that you don’t get in trouble with your master,” she says hastily, pulling at your hand. She seems keen - desperate, even - for you to come back to bed. Of course, you had timed your withdrawal perfectly. It is all going according to plan.

“But… what about your husband?” you ask. “Would he not mind that it goes missing?”

“It’d serve him right,” she snaps. “Maybe he can learn to keep his own things safe. It'll be a good lesson and I'll find joy in seeing his sullen face when he finds that it is gone. Now, enough about that useless man, and let’s continue where we left off…”

...and that is what the Rogue would do.

We're just that that suave or sex savvy. Kid's only fifteen, yeah it'll be lulzy but it likely won't give us the intended result. C1 is at least within our skillset and with the potential to earn an awesome poison using ally in the future. That can come up with all sorts of laxatives. Do it, bros. Why put Jing through the wringer out of some misguided attempt at "getting my laughing value at least." That makes no sense and will only lead to very unfortunate outcomes in the future with a mentally scarred hero.

No, we should be willing to sacrifice our pride in order to achieve the best possible outcome. We should blanch at nothing, from laxative to whoring ourselves out. All that matters is achieving our goal whilst minimising the harm we do in order to reach it.

My stance has absolutely nothing to do with how amusing sleeping with the cougar would be. Nothing at all.

We'll be a different kind of fucked once this is over, though. I know sleeping with her will be lulzy, but C1 just gives us a better outcome in case of success, without angry husbands chasing us around the province.

I've seen nothing to convince me that it comes with a better outcome in case of success, or that it has a greater chance of success at all. If the invitation disappears the woman will suspect us, she knows our identity, and being the vindictive sort she's demonstrated herself to be, she may lobby her husband to harass us with his powerful position. Of course she may not, just as the husband may find out nothing about our dalliance.

Consider this:
B2- we screw the wife in a bargain and she will most likely feel used (yes, this is about her ego and getting back at her husband; B1 is the far superior option between the two as it makes her believe what she wants to believe) and she may not even live up to her end of the bargain. If she does, though, we're still in the precarious position where we not only stole the husband's papers but also screwed his wife and this is some serious motivation for revenge. He may not love her, but he'll definitely take it as an insult. We're still working with the same timeframe of him getting back home and taking however long to discover the theft. That and honestly we're not that good in the sexual department, she may just end up disappointed which is just bad for us, unsatisfied customers and all. If Quilin is watching, this will disappoint/infuriate her, meining we have more competition at the trials.
Edit: lastly, Jing doesn't have the suave mannerisms to pull such a trick off like the Rogue would, it's entirely possible the attempt will fall flat, "you take me for a whore, young man?"
C1- we case the joint and come back later for a heist. Not only is this up our alley and experience, making it more likely to succeed, but Quilin will very likely appreciate this move since she's all about mischief and mayhem and fighting dirty, which means we may be able to work as a team at the trial (those two would complement each other nicely), which is knda important since we're going to be completely outclassed there by ourselves. We're still working with the same timeframe as B2 as far as discovery goes unless we get caught, since she won't think "oh, hey, I wonder if that boy snuck into my house Garret-style and stole the letter", which we shouldn't if we do it right.

Lastly, maintain his purity and build a harem of nubile girls of the protagonist's age, much more rewarding than a Julia Canaria De Shinar expy, sniffs and all.

To be honest, I'm not too convinced non-B2 has a clear majority, looking at the voters up for grabs I feel it could sway either way if I wait for all of them to flop. Might end up with B2 anyway.
