After Silent Hill and Castlevania getting their own pachinko machines, anyone thinking this wasn't going to happen to MGS was just fooling themselves.

All hail our new pachinko overlords, the Konami!

Everyone was ready for a Pachinko machine. Everyone was prepared to never see a proper MGS again.

Nobody was prepared for a Pachinko machine using the Fox engine to ape one of the most defining moments of the series.

That kick is so precisely targeted to the nuts it makes you wonder if they tried, and that is the remarkable thing about it. That they are so very aware of exactly what makes the audience tick and what they desire... well, except for the whole firing everyone and making a pachinko machine thing.

Don't see the issue with that. I mean, what does it matter what kind of moments from the series they use to make money from their pachinko slots? MGS was milked enough as it was with Kojima on board, and given the direction of the series, this is hardly something to make a fuss about other than to continuously wag your finger at Konami and continue bitching about a has-been company.

That's not how you make video games. That's how you make an evil plot to destroy a significant portion of the world and/or moon.

I think the character renders from that Social Ops card thing look better, at least they're more faithful to the original game characters' faces.

Konami said they were still planning to make MG games without Kojima, so maybe they want some next gen remakes using the Fox Engine eventually. MGS3 would be perfect for this given that it was meant to be open world in the first place. Or maybe they're just trolling, who knows.

Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Codex Year of the Donut Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
The first few seconds in the beginning of the trailer I was thinking, man, pretty cool idea, playing as one of the grunts on the oil-rig, but then blue flame and zombies...
