Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Codex Year of the Donut I'm very into cock and ball torture
Bro, my PC is an 8 year old notebook; I run Skyrim on minimum settings.

I might buy a new one, but then I can't get a PS4. A PS4 seems like a better deal right now since all the games I want are coming out on it. I mainly play rogue-likes and stuff like that on the PC these days. Plus, every game on that list is an exclusive as far as I know, other than MGS5.

I was going to quit consoles after The Masterpiece comes out, after which Consoledammerung will rightfully transpire. But then I found out that a Dragon Quest 11 draws near....

Get yourself a new PC, bro. Mine is only from 2010 and it's already showing its age. I got Ground Zeroes on the PS3, but if you don't have one of those either I'd say get a new PC and have fun that way.

Codex 2013 Codex 2014 PC RPG Website of the Year, 2015 Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire MCA Serpent in the Staglands Dead State Divinity: Original Sin Project: Eternity Torment: Tides of Numenera Wasteland 2 Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 BattleTech Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire
It has all the games I care about! MGS 5, the new Del Toro/Kojima game, NieR 2, FF XV, The Last Guardian, Persona 5...

MGS 5 aside, which you can play on your PC, can't you wait until the rest of those are released? By that point, PS4 should be cheaper, too.

I think I'll wait.

Fair enough!

So apparently, the "Mother Base staff" import bonus for Ground Zeroes is these two shmucks;
dWM1yPy.jpg

Or maybe you get a bunch of staff and those are just examples, I dunno. I don't read Japanese so it's not exactly clear. Those FOX tattoos look pretty dumb, though.

As for Skull Face, I doubt he's an old character, and especially not Gene given that Kojima doesn't consider Portable Ops part of his "Metal Gear Saga."

Yeah, Portable Ops is in a somewhat tenuous canonical position. Kojima said it isn't non-canon, but also said that alot of it is broad strokes.

Here's hoping for the game to turn out awesome and doesn't disappoint in the same way, the absolute piece of shit GTA V Single player did.

I'm going to throw these fucktards into the heartless sea and CQC their balls every time I run into them.

Looks like this may be the extent of the GZ bonuses: http://www.gamepur.com/news/19904-m...s-ground-zeroes-returning-staff-revealed.html

I'm guessing most of us will actually unlock multiple pairs of tattootards. PS+ players of GZ are likely hosed though.

Pretty disappointing - I honestly thought we would get all of the unique prisoners you rescue in the various ops. Hope that we can still return to Camp Omega with the TPP equipment.

As for Skullface, honestly, I can see it either way. It would be most fitting for Kojima if he was indeed some random old character (or an important one). On the other hand, maybe he's expecting us to expect that, and the curveball will be that he is actually a new character...!

So where can I get a cheap PS4 in Europe? They're all like 400 EUR in Germanistan. I'd pay 300, at best.

You dont, Sony fixes the price so you stuck with the current 400€ tag, unless you want to buy a 2nd hand one.

I'm disappointed Kojima isn't an import bonus.

What exactly is meant by "First Edition" of Ground Zeroes? Just the version that came with the staff code in the box?

What exactly one can import from a Ground Zeroes save to the new game? I extracted Chico, Kojima, some random prisioners, The Eye and The Finger...

Haha, managed to grab an nvidia coupon on ebay for 24 GBP, which is half the price of steam. Activited it on Steam without a problem.

So, are you going to whine again that you bought another open world game?

No. If you remembered, you would know that I always said that I like open world games which are limited in scope (Sleeping Dogs, Gothic, Fallout NV, Witcher 2), and not overblown shit with lots of trash (TES games, Witcher 3). MGS V thankfully falls into the former category.

That's a good price and only £2 more than I paid. But prices appear to be increasing rapidly the closer we get to release. G2A's main site has hiked the price from £26 to £35 and even Ground Zeroes codes are going up as well.

There are a few 24 and 29 GBP ones on ebay, so if anyone wants to grab one, hurry up, because as you said, prices are increasing.
