For possibly the swan song of the series this is a hell of a way to go, the game looks stunning and the Fox Engine looks like a masterpiece of scalability
I really hope that Konami uses that engine or licenses it to external developers for future games
In the modern world of yearly CoD and AC popamole it is somehow fitting that Kojima and the Metal Gear franchise go out with a bang, possibly their best game (gameplaywise) to date

Tip for cool dudes who want to play the greatest game ever made when it launches Sep 1 on PC, but want save money and fuck Konami, while still keeping the sales total high for Kojima's Magnum Opus:

You can buy codes for TPP at around 30 bucks on eBay right now. Every 960, 970, and 980 bought on NewEgg is coming with a free code, so people are reselling them on eBay. Alternatively, you could just buy a 970/980 and view TPP as a 60 dollar discount (presuming you would buy the game anyways).

Tried that with from G2A on Ebay. I got an Nvidia redeem code. It took ages but I redeemed it and logged into steam and got a message in my emails from Nvidia. "Game could not be redeemed. Please contact support." Support wants an Invoice for the card I don't own while G2A are asking if I put the code in right.

So use caution with these keys from Nvidia for now.

Well it sucks that's going on for you, but G2A is notorious for this kind of shit. At least on eBay they will almost always side with the customer if there's a dispute.

Unfortunately I have to settle for the PovertyS3 edition of this game. A combination of cheapness and laziness keeps me from upgrading my system.

I hope so. Right now G2A keep asking over and over for a picture with the error code claiming they can't see any of the pictures I've sent them so far. If they keep screwing me around after I send them the email from Nvidia themselves then I plan to dispute it with Ebay.

Standard G2A practice  Send us pictures, nope we can't see your pictures. If there are problems G2A will screw you over.

I successfully redeemed a code I bought on Ebay. I chose a UK seller, it cost £28, and it went through the GeForce website just fine (I picked 960 as the card, since the seller didn't tell me what card he got it with).

Didn't need to type the key into Steam as the GeForce website did it all for me.

Check the seller's feedback and don't buy it if it being sold too cheap, and try to stick to your own region in case Nvidia / Valve decide to investigate.

I'm confused - why are you disputing with eBay if you bought the key on G2A?

I got the code from G2A's Ebay.

Right now they are telling me to contact Nvidia support. Which I already did. Nvidia want a photo of the game code and the invoice of the graphics card the code was taken from. So it looks like I will need to go to Ebay themselves to get a refund.

Oh okay. After you get your refund, leave a negative feedback. That shit has a way bigger effect on businesses on there then you'd imagine. Once they go below a certain threshold, ebay takes away a ton of privileges.

I will be. G2A have been screwing me around over live chat all day. And in the end they just hung up on me after I explained everything for the third time and even gave them printouts of Nvidia's response.

But the main problem now is that its made me incredibly weary of getting anymore Nvidia codes from Ebay. Since I have no clue why the game couldn't be redeemed and the code is now invalid. Looks like I will need to wait for steam keys to go on sale before I buy.

What seller? I'm UK as well.

They're selling one for £8.95 right now. That is absurdly cheap. I bought one for a lot more, but I got it a couple of hours after purchasing and Paypal haven't even taken money off me yet.
