I'm pretty sure Kojima tried to make Quiet as slutty as possibly to troll the SJW. It wouldn't be the first time him trolling the players.

No reason is considered valid when you expose too much body of a woman, it is disgusting and show women as objects. But you can expose a male all you want, nobody will complain about it. Nobody will say that Rambo is disgusting. Nobody will say that Rambo show men as objects, as brainless shirtlesss killers. Nobody will say that Rambo's clothing is useless on the battlefield. In fact, there is a seriously fucking problem with this world.

Quiet is a sexualized character. No doubt about it. Kojima and Shinkawa said it. They wanted to place a woman in very revealing cloting in a battlefield. They said that she'd be the antithesis of female characters in fighting games because mostly sexualized female characters don't have any reason to dress like that and often her clothing are useless. Then, they gave a reason for the exposure of Quiet, she breath and drinks through the skin thanks to the parasites when she should be dead because her lungs are burned. The end didn't breath or drink through his skin, only made photosynteis, he wears a costume with leaves because of it. The end is a very skilled sniper guy with a special costume, and nothing more. Quiet looking is useless to in battlefield, the fight against her shows why: calls too much attention, the worst thing that a sniper can do, and it's something that the character would deal through the game. He consider the reason as mingy. And I can't get why. She has more explanation of her clothing than Liquid and Raven in Alaska ever had, who went through -12,6 °C completely shirtless beacuse yes.

Quiet protagonizes a couple of fanservice scenes through the game. These scenes are dumb on merit, and not because a woman in a bikini is protagonizing them. Just look the hilarious those scenes are with the character modeling changed. It's unnecesary fanserive, but all MGS have it. It's something that we must to deal it.

There's nothing negative in placing a sexualized character in a game. Kojima did it lot of times in the past, with males and females. And always planted good an very well written characters, even if they run nude through an Arsenal gear or if they have a neckline to the navel. Quiet is not the exception. It's probably the best character in MGSV. But SJWs often sidetrack this, and only talk about the character's looking. What a pity. At least looks like Kojima reached his objective of creating a controversial character.

If a game places a sexualized character it means the makers failed or were unable at making an interesting character.

Are you talking about mission 18? If so, how'd you get it to work?

I just redid that mission yesterday because I missed the Uragan blueprint the first time through. Quiet and I completely emptied the mine of enemies and I took out the anti-air radar, which let the helicopter land right in the middle of the mine.

But the only kid I was able to put on the helicopter was the one who was too weak to walk. The game wouldn't let me pick up any of the others, and so I still had to run all the way to the other landing site, herding the little shits along the way. :argh:

Whoever came up with the Code Talker mission needs to be punched in the balls.

Sure, the first two parts of the mission can be managed, but the extraction... why couldn't a helicopter land in the back yard of that mansion?

Oh, the Skulls were managable. I had Quiet help me out for a couple of shots before she was defeated, after which I started to shoot them with my missile launcher until they were all down. The guards at the mansion were nothing difficult either. But when I got Code Talker shit started to hit the fan. I could get away from the house easy enough, but once I got to the part with the guards it became near impossible. Either I'd get spotted and shot up by the helicopter, spotted and shot up by the guards and then the helicopter, try to sneak around but fall into the ravine because you cannot walk in certain places, try and shoot down the helicopter, only for me to find out that A: it can tank an entire loadout of Honey Bee shots and B: the guards at the mansion rush me so that I get stuck between two fronts.

Eventually I managed with more luck than wisdom rush through the jungle, call in the extraction and dodge enemy fire as I got the fuck out of there. I must've died like six times or so.

AND I STILL GOT A FUCKING A RANK. The fuck is wrong with the ranking system in this game.

The ranking system is garbage in this for sure. Its based on speed more than anything. I know they tried to broaden the range on what is truly vital on an infiltration mission. Some would argue getting the job done quickly and efficiently is preferred to taking your time meticulously taking out guards like a ghost. Seems this game rewards you for being loud.

Pro-tip, deal with all but one of the Skulls, then sneak past that one to the mansion. Once you've taken Code-Talker, all the guards are turned into zombies and there aren't any APC's or helicopters patrolling, making your exit a cake-walk.

Code Talker was probably one of my favorite missions to be honest. Fucking love old mansions and sneaking around in interiors, I can't help it.

EVA was sexy done right. Quiet looks just stupid. Plus the whole thing about
the parasites
that make her immortal and literally superwoman is just retarded.
Also she can talk navajo and any other language just fine so it's even MORE stupid

It's like Kojima had this whole idea about a naked silent stripper snipper in his mind and accommodated the story around it.


But she's also the only character in the game with a semblance of an arc and you can glimpses a good character here and there (her loyalty and devotion to Big Boss is certainly interesting), which is even more WTF.

If you just sneak by the Skulls instead of fighting them, the guards turn to zombies after you retrieve Code Talker. It's really easy to sneak past the zombies and sneaking past the Skulls instead of fighting them is a lot faster as well, so it's easier to get S rank that way.

They are entirely different characters, Eva is someone that uses her sexuality to further her ends, she attempts to seduce Snake since that helps complete her objective as Quiet is entirely diferent ... she is a sexualized character presented as fanservice that turns out tragic, you dont feel sorry for Eva because if anyone was successful in Snake Eater, it was her as Quiet is simply entirely stripped of her humanity down to the ability to communicate entirely of her own volition for most part (certainly her ability to communicate was) and she isnt even the only one, you see others like her ... of course she is objectified but not in a sexual matter since she is like the rest of the SKULLS, a tool and being clothed or not is irrelevant, she is not even unique on that matter.

I just went through the canyon at the start of the mission. Their cutscene triggered, but I avoided them entirely with literally no effort, because they didn't survey the area below them even once. Once I was at the end of the stream or whatever in the canyon, I climbed up some rocks, and that was that. At the end of the mission, I didn't see them at all, just some zombies I could run straight past.

Quiet is a bad character with lazy, uninspired design. Only idiots sincerely buy into Kojima's paper-thin justification for shoving tits and ass in your face.

Sexualization =/= bad in and of itself, but it's often a very, very easy shorthand when lazy designers can't be bothered to come up with anything creative, sexy, or interesting.

As I said, it was done on purpose ... if you want to refuse to look beyond that then you are doing just that, I would say its a deliberate bait, heck he done pretty much the same with Paz in Peace Walker with just a different type of sexualization and as I said, this been something he pretty much did every time ... be it Eva, Pas, Quiet or even The Boss ... heck the only game I think lacked it was MGS2 since Olga isnt much in my opinion, even Mistral in Revengeance despite not being a Kojima game.

Its fucking hilarious that 5 years ago nonody bitched about Paz little underwear act yet now its "objectification of women" ... I do hope you are trolling because really ...
