I checked out what the Floppy redemption code was for. Some overpowered Relic that I'm sure as fuck not going to use. A pity :(

Is there any of the content that's worth unlocking? The dungeon or similar? When I click "Unlock Content", it says my key is already in use, what's up with that?

Well fuck you all for hyping this. Got it now, it was 13 euro for Uplay Deluxe edition on g2a.com. I thought the price was too good to pass up, and I never played a blobber before so why not.

That's not where you unlock ingame stuff. It's for activating new games I think.

If you have other uPlay gaemz you can earn points there too and use em for whatever other game.
I got 80 points now from derping in Assassins creed 2 and Farcry3 that I can spend on MMX.

I don't mind the graphics at all, it's just the terrible optimization that gets me.
Yup, the graphics are fine, the game just runs like shit.

Funny thing is that the game only stutters while moving. Battles work perfectly fine.

Graphics are pretty good IMO, at least if you skipped all those latest garbage Heroes and card games put out in the franchise (since a LOT is re-used assets).
For me it doesn't matter if it's old since it's new to me :D

Bladedancer upgrade quest

What the goddam fuck. That mage guy hits for like 150-200 bolts of damage and he's got the moves of a kungfu master. I had to ditch most of my armor to get my attack value up, not that said armor was doing jackshit against his uber magicka. I eventually did kill him and cheered. Now, I don't know if I fucked up because I walked up to the tree and 'interacted' with it or if they were already there, but when I turned around there was a horde of attack golems surrounding me. That ended my party and my night of gaming. I could only muster a few more attempts against him before surrendering. I usually approached him with various buffs up, but a critical strike from him was a 1-shot kill straight through Celestial Armor. Not sure what he's weak to, if anything. I dropped multiple cyclones on him just for effect and prayed my dwarf and elf would manage to land blows/crits. Maybe I'll try to tomorrow, though I hate having to stare a boss in the face, then abruptly turn around and trek all the way back up a few ladders to exit and go grind shit out elsewhere. When you see guys like this, it only makes me think characters like the Freemage of premium value, because I keep running into shit only they can stop.
you guys needs resistance in your life.

I always buff arcane (+ all res) and whatever school seems to be the problem (in this case.. earth, IIRC?).

Most important tip for performance increase / HALP MY COMPUTER IS ABOUT TO MELT issue without having to compromise for graphics quality:
- turn down the FPS, you don't need 60 FPS in a turn- and grid-based blobber
- turn down the shadow draw distance

SAVE THIS CHARACTER? NO.
Codex 2013 Codex 2014 PC RPG Website of the Year, 2015 Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Serpent in the Staglands Divinity: Original Sin Torment: Tides of Numenera BattleTech I'm very into cock and ball torture
Well, just finished up Castle Portmeyron. Now have to wait for my box to arrive so Ubisoft will let me keep playing.
:rage:

:what:

You don't mean to tell me you played early access, saved, and expect the saves to transfer over?

They won't.

Err, no. If you bought the boxed copy, you're locked out of the rest of the game until you enter the box code. It's possible to remove the code check from the Gryphon rider's dialogue to get to the Elemental Forge, though.

Interesting that Blackguards is a bit higher on the top seller list, yet there are many more people playing MMX.

Steam shows you as still playing the game if you don't shut down Uplay after exiting it. :smug:

blackguards = 35,99€
m&m 10 = 24,99€

This is why blackguards is higher on the top seller list despite less copies sold, every 3 copies of m&m 10 are generating almost the same amount of profit what 2 copies of blackguards are generating.

Probably because people either bought Blackguards and are keeping it on the back burner to play later, or they played it but did not find the game to be what they expected i.e. a Tactics game instead of a Baldurs Gate/IWD/ToEE type game. Regardless it's a superb game too and next on my must play list, unless Divinity Original Sin gets released first.

MMX is amazing, but it really needed to be in beta for 3 more months for optimization. This is the only game i have played where i run the risk of damaging my PC due to heat. I know i should stop...but I can't. Not to mention the framerate, and the graphical issues due to having to turn AA and shadows off so I don't fry my GPU.

Hopefully they work these issues out quickly, and hope this game makes them a lot of money, so they can make a sequel that has the best elements of the Xeen series but also MM 6 & 7, like free roaming, properly scaled objects on the map, huge area, reduced loading, etc. I also would like more effort to be placed on NPC interaction. That has never been a strong suit of a MM game, but it should be improved at least. Also, original art. I love the art style for the most part in this game, but once in a while I see groan inducing shit like the crusader model picked right from the Heroes games.

Map of the world in game is so ugly.

Why don't they give us this version, without the names of places unless they're known/unlocked

It's my group,

What do you think about?

Some classes like elf warrior blade dancer or orc barbairan can't have armor (only expert with medium armor). Why?
Normalyy, A warrior class must have armor to protect

Okay, serious question because I feel like an idiot:

Where is the shrine to drop off Orlene's flowers? She said it was between the Castle and Sorpigal, right? In the Ashen hills? Why in the hell can't I find it?

The only people who care about interactive environment in a fucking blobber are Skyrim fags.

Well, the Dungeon Master/Grimrock genre of blobbers does traditionally feature a bit of physics manipulation, hunting for secret buttons, etc. Not sure if that qualifies as "interactive environment" in the popamolers' book or not.

The funny thing is that they'll never attack Bioware games for that reason. Mass Effect has a 3D world too, why doesn't it lose points for not having an Elder Scrolls-style interactive environment?

So a fan of M&M is pissed that you cant interact with environment, that quests are not emotionally engaging like in previous games in the series and that game has not evolved with the time.

So there's been some incline in RPG releases, but not in game journalism quality. Makes sense - the journalists have remained the same popamolers who used to give top scores to Skyrim and DA2, after all.
