lol at them being triggered by cheaters.

PC games by their nature will have cheaters. My issue is with the ones that suck at the game and cheat to win. The ones that cheat to make the game more fun (fashion, glitching into weird areas, etc) are pretty cool and I have no issues with them.

You're forgetting about the really fun ones that find ways to delete your account you spent hundreds of hours building up. Hahaha, so funny.

Well I think the end game is terrible a.k.a just pointless Decoration farming.

I had one or two GS builds in mind and my only option is to look forward to 50-100 hours of farming retarded elder dragons with the hope that the correct decorations will eventually drop.

The problem is that Nergigante is the best fight in the game and I'm already sick of that ... not to mention the others.

So, that's about it. It was a great game while it lasted but the magic is gone.

Yeah, I've typically dropped the old MHs long before true autism set in. I still want to master a few more weapons, but as far as monsters go, apparently it takes CRAPFUCKSHITCOM months to release anything that's not just a mashup of three to five old monsters.

Hyperbole. It's only an issue with certain textures. Still, the gigantic mess of other technical issues haven't been addressed at all, either. Guess we'll be waiting another two weeks after the 6th for a patch that breaks as much as it fixes; then, two weeks after that, we might expect a patch that finally (sort of) fixes half of the issues.

How many hours did you guys get out of MHW?

If you got at 50+ then at the very least you got your monies worth. I still enjoy killing the monsters so I continue to play (mostly due to trying other weapons) and I can see why you'd get burnt out: end game is lacking compared to other monster hunter games.

I got exactly 151 hours (while I assume 2-3 hours were spent alt-tabbed looking for info on the web). I have multiple sets of armor and GS fully upgraded, unfortunately my decorations are shit and it seems the good ones don't drop.

The first 50 hours were great for me. The Pink Rathian fight is the most memorable moment because it forced me to learn all the tricks from the book.

Then there is the Nergigante fight which is an absolute blast (with and without the homing divebomb). This fight was on par with the best of DaS's fights.

Really good stuff which is followed by this:
- Teostra - made me run all over the map like a retard, flashpods to the rescue, did not learn anything from the fight,
- Kush Daora - needs a team with flashpods cause Windproof skill is shit, the most annoying fight for the wrong reasons,
- Val Hazak - doesn't need any preparation, the map is full with Blue Nuts which nullify Miasma's effect,
- Xeno - he has a special vulnerable point on his chest for GS builds.

Basically the difficulty goes to shit once you reach the elder dragons and it's almost impossible not to get bored after a couple of days. Which will happen to anyone sooner or later.

That being said: I got my monies worth but I'm still not comfortable with the idea that the end game is just farming of tempered monsters.

Now that being said: How Dragon's Dogma compare to MHW?

If you need Decorations, farm T2 monsters. They're more likely to give the Tier 7 (Red) Feystones than Tempered Elders. Elders are for Gleaming Streamstones, and Weapon Streamstones. The latter is why they're so popular. There's also more of them, so it makes it a little more exciting. Switching up your weapons also keeps it interesting.

Anyone who says this game is RNG / desire sensor is full of shit. 3 hunts are switching to HBG from Lance, I got a Shield Jewel, and 2 Lance Streamstones. Random chance my ass!

Two completely different games but codexers love it. And i too.
It is great RPG (not jrpg). It doesn't have a lot of C&C but shitload of fun gameplay.

Dragon's Dogma is choice. If it had the modability of Skyrim we could just toss Skyrim in the trash and play Dragon's Dogma all day instead. We need a sequel.

It's disappointing that your Palicoe in MH lacks customization options. I was thinking that Palicoes would be like Dragon's Dogma's pawns, where they would learn different tactics and be a major part of the fight, but Palicoes kind of suck. The only thing you can change on them is armor/weapons. And if you play multiplayer you don't even get to see them most of the time.
