Okay have it your way - but only if you color the remaining personal trolls too. :smug:

Also, Michael Ellis, your avatar is ready.

FYI, I won't be adding any of these smilies to the forum until ALL trolls have been coloured.

That means the custom user ones.

Of course, all the people working on them already have them stored on their HDs, and can embed whenever they want, so it's no disadvantage at all for them. I don't really get the motivation behind this, but whatever, I'm colouring for fun more than anything else.

Anyway here's a quick version of Ed's. I'm not a huge fan of how the wood looks, but downscaled to avatar size, it isn't too noticeable. Also, wasn't sure if the bit at the bottom was an arm reaching into the troll like it's a puppet, or just legs. I went with legs for simplicity's sake, but I'm still not sure.

If they want to get banned or end up permanently in the post approval queue, sure. :smug:

Just cel shade the sign with a light brown colour. It'd look better than smearing burn tool or even getting a realistic wooden texture.

Are you going to have your avatar coloured?

Didn't felipepe already colour Crooked Bee's avatar?

Yeah, I think you're probably right. I'll do that when I get back to the computer w/ PS.

Yeah I'm in the danger zone now.

Ed troll with a more simple colour-in for the wood. Looks better I think.

I guess I'll do Lonerville's next, since it should be pretty quick.

The teeth look a bit strange on the cannon sitting troll IMO.

That's the way it was drawn. If I get some feedback from the user it's meant for that they want it fixed, I'll fix it by either tweaking or removing the teeth. I was also considering tweaking the inner wheel on the cannon but decided to wait for feedback from the user it's meant for. I need to fix the black too, I always forget to change to RGB in Illustrator
and the resulting conversion on export always comes out a little gray.

A very basic Lonerville. If he has anything specific he wants changed, I'll change it.

And now a simple version of deus101's troll.

I've kind of been avoiding Takeda's and Haba's, since I'm not sure what colours would be best to use. Oh also, if a person wants different sizes of their coloured user trolls I've done, I do have significantly larger versions, I just downscaled to a more usable size for posting.

No outline on the right side of right troll's head?

So, how does one apply for a codextroll avatar?

There wasn't one in the original drawing, and I'm trying to not make quite as many changes to the lineart for user trolls. Keeping it closer to MCA's original vision, unless specifically requested otherwise by the person it was made for.

You should remove those teeth...I don't think they are in teh Lore™, we're probably misunderstanding MCA's words of wisdom.
