^If it's not very big, you could just upload it to mediafire for your BROS

I tried to put up a torrent but that didn't work out so well. I'm trying mediafire right now but it's going to take an hour for it to upload, the patch is about 200mb and my connection sucks. Still I'll put up a link or whatever it gives me when it's done.

*This is strange. The two .rar files are about 100mb a piece but the actually new .esm file is only 45mb?!? The .esm file is the only thing I got from extracting the two .rar files.

** Oh well, I'm uploading the two .rar files they now seem to extract the right file I must have just messed up the extraction and only gotten one of the files... they will be up in about an hour.

Another time, use DropBox. It is your friend ;)

But thanks. You're a true bro, bro.

What does the DLC provide ?
GameStop -- The Classic Pack:

Armored Vault 13 Suit - Extensively patched up and dotted with
piecemeal armor, this outfit is a homage to the classic ending of
the original Fallout.

Vault 13 Canteen - This handy device is useful for staving off
dehydration and providing a small amount of healing in the Mojave
Wasteland.

Weathered 10mm Pistol - A well-worn 10mm pistol that packs an extra
punch despite its modest size.

5 Stimpaks - Food and water are good for long-term healing, but when
the fighting is fierce, Stimpaks help keep Wastelanders upright.

Amazon -- The Tribal Pack:

Tribal Raiding Armor - Pieced together from scraps of armor, this
outfit provides protection without impacting mobility.

Broad Machete - This heavy-bladed melee weapon does high damage
against limbs and can quickly deal out a flurry of attacks.

5 Bleak Venom doses - Useful on any Melee Weapon, Bleak Venom makes
short of work of most living targets.

10 Throwing Spears - If you would like to silently pin an enemy's
head to a wall, Throwing Spears are the way to do it.

Steam and Walmart -- The Caravan Pack:

Lightweight Leather Armor - This hand-modified suit of leather armor
reduces its overall weight without impacting its ability to protect.

Sturdy Caravan Shotgun - Despite its rough appearance, this Caravan
Shotgun will reliably fire 20 gauge shells until the Brahmin come home.

4 Repair Kits - Useful for repairing any outfit or weapon, Repair
Kits are a valuable tool for any caravaner.

Binoculars – The Mojave Wasteland is a dangerous place, but with
these trusty Binoculars you’ll be able to spot trouble coming.

Best Buy -- The Mercenary Pack:

Lightweight Metal Armor - Modified for long-range travel, this Metal
Armor sacrifices some protection for mobility and overall weight.

Mercenary’s Grenade Rifle - Though similar to other 40mm Grenade
Rifles in the Mojave Wasteland, this model has a faster reload cycle.

3 Super Stimpaks - When you absolutely, positively, need to keep
your blood inside your body, Super Stimpaks fix you up in no time.

3 Doctors Bags - Mercenaries and broken limbs go together like
Iguana-on-a-Stick and Nuka Cola. Thankfully, these Doctors Bags take
a bit of sting out of the inevitable crushed skull.

My character just sips from it automatically whenever but I'm not sure that it runs out of water. If it doesn't it might be a little bit to powerful for people wanting to play in realistic mode.

*According to the link it can be refilled which implies that it can run out but I haven't used it much myself.

I still suffered from dehydration even when using this: maybe it's a gimmick to just have 'you sip from a Vault 13 canteen' UBER COOL writing?

Eh it's not a problem either way, just throw it away if you don't want to use it, same with the overpowered(for a beginning game) weapons from the other pre-order stuff. I dumped them(not sold as also you'd get too many caps too early) and played with the weak stuff you scrounge early on.

Though I kept the throwing spears as they were great fun! ;)

The binoculars barley zoom in at all so I was pretty disappointed with them. Maybe I was missing something?

Perhaps this: http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/ ... p?id=34715

I might check that out later.

Can I get better binoculars later on? Are the DLC binoculars just crappy? If that's the case then that's pretty cool but if all the binoculars are this crappy then I'll use that mod.

, the combat is terrible

:rpgcodex:

What did you expect from Shitbryo really? Turn based iso combat?

Shitty combat is an engine's fault

Well at least you didn't blame Bethesda.

Limitations of an engine is an engines fault, particularly when Obsidian were contracted to use Bethesda's version of Shitbryo. Divinity II uses this engine too and it's quite serviceable, but that's not the tool Obsidian got to use now is it? What could they do with it, really? They had a year to rattle off a game and did the best they could. Maybe they should have used the TOEE engine, but I don't think Bethesda would have allowed this to happen.

Let's see if these files work...

part 1.

http://www.mediafire.com/?n5zznnm2dmd

part 2.

http://www.mediafire.com/?tnznmw0mn3d

You will need to DL both. Then just select both and extract them at the same time. You should end up with a single new FalloutNV.esm file. Just replace the file with that name that's already in your New Vegas data folder. Let me know if these work, I'm notorious for screwing this kind of stuff up. Also, I only did a quick scan for viruses and whatnot on the torrent but so far I haven't pulled anything up, the torrent site hasn't reported anything nor did the upload site but you still might want to scan them for yourself and back-up the old file before you just replace it in case I messed it up somehow.

*Here is a link to both in a folder but you still need to DL them seperatly... I'm awful at this.

Really? I think these are pretty cool for preorder bonus standards. These items are pretty generic, they just have a custom texture or higher durability. The only thing that could be considered somewhat imbalancing is the stand-alone canteen, and even then it isn't that good. Much better than the overpowered amulets you could get in Dragon Age, for example.

Downloaded, yes. Tried, not yet.

Let me know if everything extracts correctly and works for you. I'm paranoid that I messed something up and that the files won't work.

Really liking it so far, haters gonna hate.

And Big Iron is one awesome track, goes well with the unique revolver from Lonesome Drifter that plays guitar twangs when you equip it.

:mca:

Wish there were more tracks on the NV Radio tho, hearing how Wayne Newton busted the love tester machine for the 20th time gets a bit boring.
