Fetish games that are actually good games are few and far between. A Dance With Rogues is an even greater anomaly because it is a fetish-focused role playing game with good gameplay, C&C, etc, while most fetish focused role playing games are... Ewww. Just, like, ewww.

Most of the good fetish games out there are plataformers or metroidvanias. That and visual novels with actual gameplay elements like tactical combat, kingdom building, etc. I may try to compile a list by fetish when I feel like wasting some time.

I was dividing it because I think pornography is used mostly for explicitly sexual material, so a game can be pornographic while not being a fetish game and be a fetish game while not being pornographic. Maybe I am mistaken on its use, however.

Almost, it would be dark olive if it had a slight, but not so slight, green bias to it. Though I have messed so much with my video thingie's control pannel that maybe it has that green tint but my screen doesn't display it anymore.

Let me tell you: with those two games, and the rance one, you only just scratched the surface of japanese games. Just have a look of the site i posted, or dlsite/melonbooks for a better idea o/

Was it like 3 , maybe even 4 years ago? I remember this being one of the first games I ever watched a stream for, and the stream became so popular that it was featured on the front page of the site (think it was Ustream); the frame that happened to be used for the thumbnail was one where the girl was being raped by multiple tentacles and pissing and vomiting or something.

Hmmm. I do most LP reading at work these days, and though NSFW is an understatement here, I don't mind looking at the screenshot version. A video would be a lot harder for me, and I don't know if I can muster up the "I've got nothing better to do" rationalization to watch something so awful on so many levels when I'm home.

Obviously that's just me. Certainly for the sake of posterity and really the good of all humanity, a stream/video version is far superior to an incomplete tale. Especially considering how important this story is. It must be told.

I have to say I prefer reading a screenshot LP, if only because it gives me a better chance to digest the game and also allows me to focus on the commentary.

Also, as bad as the game sounds, I'm not sure if I could rationalize or sit through someone playing it.
