Yeah, Onyx was great. Who knows, maybe they're using it in Vermont.

They tend to spend ca. 1 million a month. Surely they can afford some laser-lights.

It seems like you're thinking of some garage indie company, which Obsidian hasn't been in a long time (if ever).

After hearing them say they laid their employees after FNV and almost going bankrupt if not for Kickstarter, I kinda thought they can't afford extravaganza even if it was a few years ago. Isn't 1 million counting the salaries for everyone as well, they have almost 100 or something employees and IIRC Tim Schafer said the Double Fine devs get 20K+ a month.

I always thought when people say the name of the company and then add HQ then it means they have branches or something. Like Google HQ for example is the main place and other places are branches or something like that.

Almost bankrupt or not, moving to an entirely new place might have still been more expensive than staying put.

Anthony Davis Does Obsidian own the location or is it renting?

Now we know where Pillars of Eternity's profits went. :)

Likely not present at the party: Josh "I don't like parties" Sawyer.

Or maybe I was just being an ass because of their 1 million a month budget and cries of hard times.

That was a club that was rented on a Wednesday night.

The picture of Katrina as Femloki (a real thing apparently), was taken outside our office. We had a halloween party in the patio area after work. It was super fun but low key, and actually what I prefer.

Low key, beer, music not too loud, and a place to sit.
