Ehehe.
Anything to say to that or are you just gonna go on with your retarded trolling?
Ehehe.
Man a certain heterosexual white male needs to read http://arsmarginal.wordpress.com/2011/06/03/deconstructing-pointy-eared-white-supremacists/

They usually are, but this is Obsidian, plus potential small incline so they forget about such ""trivial"" things like elves, dwarfs 'n shit.Magic and elves are only cool if you're a Tolkien fag and I was under the impression that most of us here have evolved beyond that nonsense. Try again, Josh.

The fans will find a way. The most obvious one already is the 18 months they've given themselves. Granted, they already have a ready-made engine and tools so maybe that's enough time as long as they don't fuck up the scope like they almost always do.In a way, it will be refreshing because they will not have any more excuses
While MCA may be master of the CRPG Kool-Aid, believing that the Black Isle cult can beat the iCrowd strikes me as rather naive. Still it's nice to have dreams and not be a cynical husk of a being like most of the local residents. The most founded project ever on Kickstarter right now is over 10millions, a watch that communicates with i-phones lol, my bet is Project Eternity will beat it.
Oh dear god... look at this thread... http://www.dayonepatch.com/index.ph...ent-and-interactions-that-caters-to-consoles/
New Vegas also shipped with a gajillion bugs and I'm tired of seeing the "Obsidian BUGS" meme.

And on a completely unrelated note, in honor of Sawyer I hereby christen this game Dullsville: Eternity.
They must have worked out, "this is what we can deliver with 1.1 million" - and yet that's a pretty low amount. I assume the ready-made engine & tools, as well as Obs' in-house audio stuff, etc., will help, but then they will start putting in more things as stretch goals - there's no publisher here, but it's a different kind of scope management necessary. I agree it's a risk.
DS3 was so stable in part because it's a relatively unambitious linear affair with a really narrow scope. I expect the same from South Park. This, on the other hand, is promising a lot of exploration, extensive combat and non-combat abilities, and a good amount of quests with multiple approaches and far-reaching consequences. Things that drive up the number of "things that can and will go wrong."New Vegas also shipped with a gajillion bugs and I'm tired of seeing the "Obsidian BUGS" meme.
Well, if DS3 is anything to go by, the Onyx engine seems pretty stable. I guess we'll see for sure with the South Park game.

the scot should be good in math and know how much time they're able to spend with the given budget. whatever happens they shouldn't ignore the huge risk - they're the first kinda big developer doing kickstarter and if they fail to deliver they're screwed. guess mca's comment about catering to consoles, no matter how true it is, did already enough damage amongst "customers" and developers.
Yeah! Make the game speed adjustable, like in BG1 and 2.
