No editorI didn't catch mention of it in the videos and articles I've watched and read thus far, but are they planning on releasing a world editor of sorts? Modding capabilities?
Uh...doesn't this apply to every kind of combat? The only way not to make real time with pause combat not suck is by making it challenging.
You can zoom out, they played in the 'zoomed in' view. The line of sight seems a little short. Also, I feel the camera should be placed higher up as default.
I'm pretty sure The Temple of Elemental Evil was less claustrophobic and had smaller character models. Played at a proper resolution the infinity engine games certainly have a much wider view.
Josh said:just a few days ago we discovered two bugs affecting attack speed. first, armor was not properly slowing down recovery between attacks. second, interrupts (hit reactions) were zeroing out the recovery bar, meaning you could act immediately after being interrupted regardless of where you were, recovery-wise. so the pace will be a little slower in the backer beta/final product.
I disagree, it's a HEY DUMMY PAY ATTENTION TO ENVIRONMENTAL CLUES FROM NOW ON IN THIS GAME warning. I doubt they'll do it again.Yeah of course there's far worse handholding 'out there' but I didn't kickstart any of it. And that doesn't make it ok anyway. Also I don't buy the 'but it's a tutorial level' explanation because there is no tutorial in what I saw: those are not general explanations about the mechanics or interface of the game, it's guidance for a specific puzzle. Not needed, not wanted.
3. After the constant circle jerking around here about Divinity: Original Sin being a masterpiece (although is a semi-mediocre game), now the Codex turns against it because Pillars is detrimentally compared with Divinity by the retards out there. Classy!.
you missed a notUh...doesn't this apply to every kind of combat? The only way not to make real time with pause combat not suck is by making it challenging.
Yeah, that makes a lot more sense. Though in my defense, that sentence's structure pretty fucked up.you missed a notUh...doesn't this apply to every kind of combat? The only way not to make real time with pause combat not suck is by making it challenging.

By featuring lots of character classes?"DOS is definitely classy."
How does a game become classy? DOES. NOT. COMPUTE.
Typical RK, loves eurotrash.Saw the video. I think I'll go back to D:OS tonight.
