Codex 2012 Codex 2013 MCA Serpent in the Staglands Dead State Divinity: Original Sin Project: Eternity Torment: Tides of Numenera Wasteland 2 Divinity: Original Sin 2 My team has the sexiest and deadliest waifus you can recruit.
Looking at the picture some more, I'm beginning to think that the items themselves may be the key to figuring out the last word. I see fencing equipment ("fencer"? unlikely), biking equipment ("biker"? even more unlikely) and a bag... a messenger bag. Taking the bag and the biking equipment, you can think of a bike messenger... so it may be "messenger", with the fencing equipment thrown in there to throw us off a bit... or to signify that this messenger we're talking about is going/will go through some tough shit, so he needs to be armed.

NO
SLEEP
FOR
THE
FENCER?

NO
SLEEP
FOR
THE
DESTROYER?

NO
SHEEP
FOR
THE
SHEEPFUCKER?

Second word could be keep instead of sleep.

NO
KEEP
FOR
THE
KEEPER
Would be more cryptic nonsense.

First word could be Inferno too.
INFERNO
KEEP
FOR
THE
MURDERER

Sssh, I'm just trying to make them think it could be a Torment game (when it can't be).

Also it stands for

NO
SLEEP
FOR
THE
PROGRAMMER

They're apologizing in advance for the buggy release.

Hopefully not, who cares about that?
(Wheel of Time, I mean; we'd all lick up the Black Hound greedily)

Josh Sawyer just tweeted this:

Fencing equipment, messenger bag, white wall in the background: It will be Mirror's Edge 2, featuring messengers running across rooftops and fighting rivals with swords since the oppressive government has banned all guns.

The picture contains a message for the Codex, writing it in a 5 by 5 square:

PORNO
CREEP
HONOR
NICHE
GAMER

The verticals yield the words "Pchng ohoia rencm naohe", which is The Password.

Obsidian Entertainment is a game development studio located in Irvine, CA. We were founded in 2003 with many former Black Isle Studios employees dedicated to producing high-quality role-playing games. We're most known for games like Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II, Neverwinter Nights 2, and Fallout: New Vegas.

Prior to Obsidian, each of the owners worked for Black Isle Studios as production, design, management, and programming staff, having worked on the Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, and Planescape: Torment series.

We loved working on those games, and feel there's a real nostalgia for them, and we're looking to you for help to bring them back!

Well, in that case this won't be the Torment spiritual successor since Avellone said they won't be doing that.

Unless he didn't want to divulge it at that time so they can do their little puzzle game...
