Unfortunately, I'm too tired to newspost this. Crooked Bee will take care of it when she wakes up. :P

Update said:
One of the first images that sprang to mind was an old woman – a dethroned queen – wandering along an empty road in tattered finery. Despite whatever horrors she had suffered, she maintained a certain stubborn dignity, and she carried a heavy book of law.
So what was her story? According to her followers, she had once claimed rulership over all the other gods. But if that was true, she was cast down in the far distant past. Among the other gods, she has no real allies, believing that all the gods owe her fealty. She claims the portfolios of law, rightful rulership, memory, and vengeance. And she manifests in the world as the Strangler, a leathery-skinned old woman, always clad in tattered finery, who appears on an empty road or abandoned alleyway to murder those who break a solemn oath.
Pretty fucking cool, though I expect nothing less from Ziets.
Gave me strong Lady of Pain vibes, especially the last part. Hope she's tied into at least one quest - say, for instance, one where the player can choose to discard some oath for some petty gain in the beginning, play on, forget about it, then meet her near the end, preferrably when he exits all battered up from a dungeon hoping to get to camp/town and get some rest.

Then barter your soul in exchange for punishment, losing all the soul-based abilities.

Although the combat will probably be average, PE is shaping up to be damn good in both storyfag and party creationfag areas. Are there any other games that do both of these things well? I think SMT: Nocturne did, but it's weeaboo.

MotB has brilliant character-creation. All NWN2 games have. One of the saddest things about those games is toying around in the rolling hills of grand character creation only to be plunged into the horrendous combat.

I'd say Icewind Dale and Baldur's Gate have good party-creation and story, but it isn't stellar in any of them. So I dunno.

looks like he's about to stab himself in the dick. but he can't touch the dagger's hilt because he's gonna frame someone for it. frame a guy for stabbing his junk. he's saluting his member for all those years of service.

He looks like an elf that is about to use magic to possibly enchant a weapon.

I really liked it. (And I hate elf faggots).

Actually, it looks to me like he's using psychometry on a weapon used in a crime. Very cool.

Yep. I remember early on that one of the companions was some sort of Orlan Sherlock Holmes type, I think this is him.

Have they said anything about optional full party creation at the beginning and multiplay?

Indeed. IIRC you can travel to the "Hall of adventurers" and create a custom character for your party whenever you'd otherwise recruit a new follower. Though I suspect mods that let you create a full party at the start will be made shortly after the game's release.

What's that fist on his chest grabbing? Has anything been said about this symbol? What faction it represents and such?

It looks like a dart. Does it signify that he has won a darts tournament in some local bar?
