Well, I share the opionion about the first JJ Trek with the Red Letter Media guys, so I expect it to be better than most Trek movies.

Btw, seeing how today I saw lots of furious reactions to the daily thing, I think it's in the best interests for someone who figures out how to do the thing efficiently post a little guide for those who intend to run it. Personally I'm not sure if I'm going to run it.

Ok, I just beat "Fastest Game on Ice", which is the one you need for the Breen cruiser, on my 3rd attempt. Took a couple runs to get the hang of it but I'm thinking it'll be easy now. Takes maybe 3 minutes to do.

The trick is to only sprint at the very beginning and very end, when you have a straightaway. Just "jog" the rest of the time, your opponent will jog the whole course so if you sprint at the start you should have a lead for the entire race. For the remainder of the track hug the inside corner on your turns and you should be fine.

I just press R to autorun the entire time, pin down the SHIFT key, and presteer. Don't wait until you need to turn to start your turn, turn early. If you screw up, doubletap back. Rolling will immediately halt your motion and rolling back will generally be a safe panic move to avoid overruning an edge. The opponent isn't even relevant, he's so sad it's not funny.

Come to think of it, most players are so sad it's not funny. I often pass people who started before me.

Well my count so far.

One Gun (pays itself really, at least it makes fighting much easier and so INSTANCE HOOPING FOR MOAR REWARD!)
Two Jackets.

I can afford another gun but I am going to wait for next week to pass on the FARMING torch.

Okay, I procured a bunch of commodities, so our money is getting low again. Them stembolts were expensive. Next time I round up dilithium, I'll be able to get the KDF Fagricator going (mostly: Someone put CRUMBS in there, so will have to finish it off), and clear the way for the Winter Project, so start collecting all that junk. We'll need a lot of it, it seems.

I do have to say Cryptic did get its act together since I did leave. The game does feel much better now. More fun as well. They did even manage to make Gorn minefield very fun to play. I'm in awe. But still they do have to give Aceton Assimilators and Plasmonic Leechs to the Federation, which does make my dream ship to be still unatainable. Is there a reason to play a full support Federation vampire carrier other than Feds being prettier and having fashion sense? Klingons do even get point defense system now.

Edit: I should not write post this early. I did rewrite it to make it possible to be read. Do forgive the previous grammatical sin.

... so start collecting all that junk.

We only need 500 of each to cover both bases, it might sound a lot but its not really outside the bells and beads that are uncommon and dont show up as much.

Since they dont bind you can move around characters and trade then, I advise against using the exchange right now since they are too expensive and should come down in a week or so but better not wait until there is a week left since I suspect there will be a price hike, depends on suppliers and a lot are still working on outfitting their characters.

Seeing how the equivalent items were in Champions last year, I'd wager they'll be around 100 credits a piece by New Year's.

Do you have any cashflow of your own at all? Or do you buy something like a million bolts at once?
It was like 3000 bolts, and at the moment, my cashflow is negative. The rep system is a major cash-eater. The only positive quantity of stuff I presently can still generate is Dilithium. When the artifacts market tanked, my EC cashflow went with it.

ATTENTION: Will whichever joker put in the *2* minerals in the KDF Fagricator please finish up and put in the missing 3? Seriously, don't do that. That's annoying.

Well it seems there was not enough Dilithium to make it run either, I put the remaining peanuts and its running now.

Main cost is going to be those terraformers, then. The Seismic whatzits shouldn't cost us much of anything since I stole them.

Well, feel free to elaborate further on how I should go about printing more money. I'm pursuing the foundry option for FM and shit, perhaps that will cough out some goods. But mainly I try to focus on what I do best, and what I do best is MORE MINERALS.

Well, if you can get us the Dilithium for Embassy Projects, I'm more than happy to keep coughing up millions. I've soon rebuilt my trace + artifact supplies and am ready to start a new gamble spree with those, and I've got plenty of refugees to trade in as well.

I'll start contributing EC to help lighten the load a bit, Vaarna. Like everyone else, the Omega and Romulan rep projects have been eating up my funds. I think I'm also done playing dress-up with the winter gear so I'll start throwing my snowman murder rewards at that special project as well.

It's really too bad there's no way to convert fleet credits into energy credits at something like a 1/10 ratio. I have a huge surplus of fleet credits right now and there's nothing I want or need to buy from the starbase vendors.

Dil's what I do. Apparently, from my talkings in other channels, a lot of fleets would cut a bitch to get a pair of dil fiends like us. And wait, refugees trade in for serious money? Because I tend to have those coming out of my ears, to the point where my doffroster clogs and I can't jettison those things fast enough. I mailed a pack to Drakron for free just to empty space, I just can't find enough Asylums to jettison these things fast enough.

Actually, the off-chance purples of certain types trade for several mil. Say, a Conn Officer who reduces Tac Team recharge on KDF is 12 mil minimum.

Yeah, I jettison any chance I get. Thing is, it's easier to get refugees than it is to get rid of them. 20 hours and a rare assignment to jettison, only 4 to get yet another one. I take on refugees roughly 5x faster than I can dump them, particularly of the less desirable types. Andorians never seem to want theirs back.

Come to think of it, I haven't seen an Andorian refugee assignment like ever.

EDIT: Embassy upgrade now open for contribution. 1100 Marks put in, as well as all the Expertise and Embassy Provisions.
