ACHTUNG!

The Officer Reports are BACK! Well, in a manner of speaking, it still takes a bit longer, but I've clocked in at 3 minutes or less with Accolade - Ground (currently in HOT) to get the daily. So... We're back in business!

Embassy T1 upgrade is now running thanks to Officers Reports Fleet Mark grinding.

Great job, time to get the Embassy show really on the road.

EDIT: And as a reminder to everyone, we're prioritizing Recruitment at the moment, and then Diplomacy.

Alright, as you know Winterland event have a race that gives Winter Epohh Tags, before that was UTTER useless bu they changed so you can turn those Epohhs into Romulan Marks.

Now first thing, the console have TABS so look at the last Tab for the turn in and Elders go for 100 UNLESS its a Earmuff/Ribbon Elder that goes for 200 that you can only get by CRIT on the assigment.

So this is how you do it ...

There is a Romulan women near the console with a bunch of Epohhs, this works like in New Romulus raising were you have to talk to the NPC to get the assigment, raising is done by Duty Officer assignment and you need 6 Winter Epohh Tags to raise the first, now what you want to do is NEVER use the DOFFs that give success but rather DOFFs that have Critical Success traits and NO success since you want to CRIT to get Earmuff/Ribbon variety.

Raising to stages is like on New Romulus, you only need the Epohh and nothing else ... now if you have a Earmuff/Ribbon you really dont have to worry about Critting anymore since they will grow to elders, however if you dont keep using DOFFs with Critical Traits until they are being raised to Adults, that is about the cutoff point since its make it or swim, usually you can tell by the assignment having a critical chance or not, if its 100% success then dont bother with the good DOFFs since its pointless, just use anything on then just to make then run.

Since you can run multiple assignments this is quite a timer saver on Romulan marks, as I mentioned a Elder goes for 100 with a Earmuff/Ribbon Elder going for 200.

Awesome, thank you for the write-up Drakron! Now I guess I have a reason to raise space Pokemon.

One other small detail. Winter Epohh tags are also a possible reward for digging in the snowball piles, so people can just find one of those and hold down "F" if they don't feel like doing the race.

How long does it take to raise an Epohh?

I'd like to get the numbers for how fast you can gain tags, and whether or not they're bound.

EDIT: Also, here's a list of the ways you can do Officer Reports again, the missions I've found the best for the alt-farm:

1) RPScene3, entry located on Deep Space 9 next to the corridor down to Mail/Exchange room. You just need to click three objects and the mission clears. Estimated time to clear -1 minute.

2) Accolade - Ground, entry located on the ESD classic console. Just roll back and click until all options are cleared. Most of the time goes into loading areas. 2-3 minutes to complete. This one has a level requirement.

3) Weapons Free, entry located on the same old ESD console. You just have to cause 10 chain explosions in space. Takes a bit longer and is best done with an Escort, but also gives lots of loot. I've been doing this with my unleveled alt, and he's currently made over a mil with his three runs so far.

We're cash-flat basewise again. It's time to do major procurements for the big upgrades and there's not enough money.

One day, EACH stage (unless you crit, that might skip a stage).

Bound on Pick Up.

The interesting on the Winter Event is you get at least 2 per race, since there are multiple racers per hour its easy to get 6 as New Romulus have a cooldown timer of 20 hours and its near impossible to get enough tags unless you are grouped.

The whole point is New Romulus Epohh Tagging just takes too long to be effective, Q's Winterland on the other allows to get tags at a much faster pace, the mechanics besides that look exactly the same but the stop gag always been the 20 hours cooldown and pretty the time spend on getting a pup, in Q's Winterland you can get one in a day ... New Romulus can take about 4-5 days unless you group and even then its still slow.

Looks like Accolade has been disqualified as valid for Officer Reports as of the latest patch. Weapons Free and RPScene3 are still ok (for now).

It's not triggered by the patch. It's triggered by average completion time diving because people flog it to death as a quickie. This can happen even when nothing has been patched.

Weapons Free will likely remain valid because there is no way to rush it, it will always remain interminably long and load-screen-laden. It's not really a quickie at all, it's a regular mission.

The action's quick. The loading, not so much, people have bitched about this.

A second here, a second there. The longest I've for Free had was 5 seconds. I spend more time posting on teh Codex while I run it than anything else.

Yes, dumbasses are not even smart enough to make it last 15 minutes so its not disqualified.

I expected that to happen the moment I realized we could just click the way out of it.

I really hope I can get this laptop to run STO. Otherwise I can't play for a while, not having my regular computer here at the cabin.

Well, it's not really dumbasses, even. It's a Prisoner's Dilemma game where you know what the other guy is gonna do already, and it ain't playing nice. So in both the short and long-term, the smartest move is, in fact, to burn it as a quickie, because there is no long-term.

Accolade - Ground worked for me just now. Also, we could use some Dilithium for the Recruitment projects Norfleet.

You disgustingly wealthy magnificent bastard.
Hey, at least I don't have a palace and ride around on a gold-plated elephant with one hundred thousand dancing eunuchs as entourage like Wyrmlord does.

Will whoever jammed the KDF starbase project with crumbs finish the job? I've already repeatedly asked that people not do that.

Yes, the annoying and extremely distasteful practice of dumping in minerals in incements of non-5s, thus causing the rampant spread of crumb-syndrome. Plus, the smallest increment of dil I can effectively move about is multiples of 25. This prevents me from finishing the project when people jam it in crumbs.

It's a plague that spreads: Someone puts in 2 dilithium. Now his inventory is uneven. He never finishes the job: Someone else puts in 3 to top it off. Now TWO people have the problem. And it spreads from there.

Why don't you guys :monocle: up and play Eve Online instead? (I'd be down)

Because its subscription based and on the days of F2P and B2P its a outdated model, one that by what I read is something the "boys club" dont even have to pay but new players ... oh yes, they have to.

And the fact I despise the entire notion of a game being a second job, too much shit on EVE is something I dont want to deal with PvP and expecially the EVE PvP model that is forced so unsurprising I dont want to deal with jackasses blowing me up making me lose everything and start from zero as I am paying for that "privilege".

If you want to play EVE so much then go and stop annoying us with that fucking game, we know what it does and its certainly not :monocle: ... its
